Jesus is all we need to be happy. Nothing on earth will ever satisfy our soul. Sin may seem good on the outside but it is full of soars on the inside. We can either walk thirsty or find drink in the well of living waters. Only the Lord has the ability to fulfill our every need. In our cries He delivers us from distress. His peace calms our raging hearts. His love casts away all hate. His mercy takes away all sin. His compassion lifts us up and gives us hope. We can find ourselves overtaken with joy because of His blessings He bestows upon our lives. We can find divine knowledge given by God through the Bible. What the Lord offers is true. He gives life eternal for all that believe in Him. Oh, How we are in need of a Savior to lead us into the truth. Lend an ear to Him and He will teach You how to live a faithful life. Be dependent on Him and You will be made strong.
Though the appearance of this world is engaging it doesn’t compare to the blessings of God. Temptation of the devil is only fooling us. It tries to lead us down a path that bears no light. There is no fruit in it at all. Let us not be deceived. Though our flesh is weak, quench your thirst in the Word of God. Hunger on His words. Stand strong in the faith. Let the Lord bear you up through prayer. Give Him your heart and He will do a mighty work in your life. Living a life through Jesus will bring eternal satisfaction. Salvation is life eternal with the Lord. This is our reward if we follow Jesus. There is no greater gift on earth than to be in His presence. I thank the God on high for leading me into His light. His ways are good and righteous. This is what I desire in my life. For my soul longs to be in the light of Christ. I love Jesus with all my heart and soul. I need Him every hour.
Psalm 107:4-9 (KJV)
4 They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.
5 Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.
6 Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.
7 And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.
8 Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
9 For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.
