The number of plagiarism’s in the Book of Mormon is startling. We have 20 chapters from Isaiah that are copied and pasted into this book, along with many other chapters and verses in the Bible. I am speaking of places in the Bible that came many years after this supposed people group left Jerusalem to sail to America. Speaking of this, we have Helaman that is supposedly written around 6BC, but still, this book is quoting from Jesus, of whom He had not spoken these words yet. The Lord lived in Israel while this book is based in America. I am speaking of John, chapter 5, where Jesus spoke about people who would one day come out of their graves, and to either the resurrection of life or damnation. This is nowhere to be found but from Jesus’s own mouth. Jesus said, “26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; 27 And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. 28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.” (John 5:26-29)
The following is an excerpt from Helaman, chapter 12, in the Book of Mormon. You can see in verse 26 how Joseph Smith copied and pasted what Jesus said, without giving credit to the Lord. He instead gives credit to Nephi in this chapter, which we know is false. This is seen countless times where the Book of Mormon fictional authors now receive credit for something the Bible teaches, which is what we call blasphemy to God’s words. This is shown in the following verses, “25 And I would that all men might be saved. But we read that in the great and last day there are some who shall be cast out, yea, who shall be cast off from the presence of the Lord; 26 Yea, who shall be consigned to a state of endless misery, fulfilling the words which say: They that have done good shall have everlasting life; and they that have done evil shall have everlasting damnation. And thus it is. Amen.” (Helaman 12:25,26) What I simply ask of all Mormons is that they repent of their false beliefs. Know that God has confirmed to me and millions of other people that the Book of Mormon is false. Right now, if you are a Mormon, then you are on the path of destruction that leads to damnation, as Jesus said. Eternal life is still an option. Amen.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, rescue those who are lost in Mormonism. At the moment, most of these people do not realize that they are on the path of destruction. They feel that what they believe in is true and are comfortable in this religious lifestyle. My heart goes out to them, for they are so lost and cannot even see it. How is it that their hearts have become so hardened to You and Your truth? God, all I desire is to reach them with Your true gospel message, which You have given to us. It is so hard to get the true gospel message through to them when they cannot let go of what they believe in when it comes to Gethsemane. Truly, their false prophets have caused them to ignore the fact that in death You atoned for our sins, Jesus. And so they have removed the importance of the cross. Lord, what they believe in is of the devil. They are not allowing Your blood to cover them by way of the cross and don’t even realize it. Even their Book of Mormon is full of plagiarism and presenting this truth to them, they can only laugh and stuff at me. Lord, help me and other Christians know how to reach the lost. I love them so much and pray that they will see this love in me, also. I love you, Lord. You deserve the glory and the praise. Amen.
