Oh Lord, I pray that people will remember why we celebrate Christmas. And that is because of You, Jesus, and Your majestic birth. Our sins are forgiven because of Your ultimate sacrifice for sins on the cross. Thank You, Jesus. Thank You, Lord. I just pray that in every Christian family that we are not focused on anything else but You, Jesus. This is a special time for us to remember Your birth, and I pray that we will not give in to the world’s standards. Santa Clause is all the rage during this holiday season. There are many movies and TV shows about Santa and his reindeer. Even do children sit on a person’s lap who calls himself Santa at malls and other places. Where many people also put a figurine of Santa on their tree and blown up figures outside their houses. Wow! What a mockery to You, God. How can people lie to their children, and have them believe in a made-up person, which is a false god? This false god has been created to do things like you do, which is to know when we are good or bad, to receive our letters, and to bring us gifts. Wow, oh wow, how can people believe in this trash? All this is, are people trying to replace You with a figure that isn’t even real. For only You can see our every action, hear our prayers, and give us good gifts. There is no substitute for what You can do for us, but again, the media is always trying to remove You and replace You with other things. So, Lord, I pray that people will see how wrong this really is and no longer allow their children to see Santa. That they will no longer play shows with Santa in them. And that if we have a tree, that it is filled up with things that honor You alone. For God, we worship You and not the idols of this world. We love You and honor You, this day and forever. Amen.

Matthew 1:18-20
Matthew 1:18-20 (KJV)
18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.
20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
