Near the end of the great tribulation, the seventh seal was opened with a silence in the heavenly realm for 1“the space of half an hour”. Then it was that seven angels 1“stood before God” and 1“were given seven trumpets”, as each one of them would have a big role to play. However, before they were called to perform their duties, 1“another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand.” The prayers were not forgotten, but was sweet incense that filled the air. Oh, how lovely it was to know that so many people were still offering their time to God in prayer, though times were hard during the tribulation times on the earth. However, the hardest times were still to come, as people’s faith would be tested in ways like never before. So the angel that had just offered the prayers of the saints with incense, then 1“took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.” Surely, this would have caused a great disturbance upon all the earth. Then, after this angel cast the fire to the earth, 1“the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.” Surely, the saints would then see these signs and look to the heavens for what happens next.
With every trumpet sound from the angels, there would be much famine on the earth because of the wickedness of the people. So it happened and 1“the first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.” Imagine seeing a third of the trees burn faster than a forest fire, while destroying towns and cities in its path. This would surely put all people in a panic as even their grass would start dying before their eyes. But this was just the beginning. 1“The second angel sounded” next, 1“and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood.” As the fire was spreading on earth, a fiery mountain was thrown into the sea. It was so large that it took a third of the sea life with it. Blood filled the waters as the sea gave up their dead. Then. 1“the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.” So, before people could recover from the fires on the land and sea, this great star hit the earth, which caused a third of the rivers to become poisonous and many people died by drinking it. Now, imagine the fear in people’s eyes as everywhere they look is destruction.
Soon after the three angels sounded, another sound came, as God’s wrath was poured out upon the earth. It is recorded that 1“the fourth angel” came and sounded his trump, and 1“the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise. And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!” So the turmoil continued with the light getting dimmer on earth. Imagine looking into the skies and seeing a big chunk of the sun and the moon crumble and fall off. Then, imagine the stars above going out one by one until a third of them were gone. Because of this, there would be a lack of vegetation that would be able to grow, along with good water and food to eat. Every person left on the earth would suffer and even every Christian’s faith would be tested. Many people would have already died, and now, with the lack of sunlight, many things would stop growing all together and the earth would get very cold. If you are wondering why these plagues were done to the earth, it is because of the wicked generation that is upon it. God has had it with the people that are blatantly living in sin. Please know that what I am telling you is real and it is only part one of what is to happen on earth. So repent if you are not already right with God.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, my God, I pray that every person in the faith will be ready when the days of tribulation comes our way. If any of us are going to be a part of the great tribulation, help us to keep the faith and never let it die. I know that Your words are apparent and many plagues will be cast upon the earth in those days. Because of what has been spoken, I know how hard it will be to live, and for this reason I pray that if I am or others in the faith are left on earth, that we will continue to shine our lights for all to see, who are in darkness. It will be dark times and our faith in You will be what matters. The world will need people to turn to when all there is, is fear and despair. I know that You hear these prayers and that they are sweet incense before Your altar in heaven. So may my prayer for the saints on earth and other’s prayers be lifted up to You now. Our desires are to serve You and to love You with all our hearts. You are the bearer of eternal life and to follow You is the only right way to go. I can either choose death, while living in sin, or find freedom in my confessions to You, Lord. There is forgiveness and mercy in Your hands, oh God. Nothing we have ever done can keep us from Your presence, when our lives are cleansed by Your blood. Thank You for washing me and making me whole again. Oh how far did I stray and still You had compassion for me and took me in. I love You Lord and pray that many more souls will be saved before the end of times. I know that time is ticking and the end of days is near. May we all sense this and no longer delay our day of repentance before You. This is so important to our souls and salvation. This I pray Lord, in thy holy Name, Jesus. Amen.
