Today’s Prayer (05/09/2019)

Oh Lord, my God, I am so grateful to know You better each day. It is truly a blessing to have Your words in the Bible for me to abide in. Every one of us are sinners and need Your law, in order to point us back to You. Truly, it is easy to get lost in this world as evil is made to appear as good and what is good is frowned upon by this generation. If we went by what the average person says, we’d be led astray and not even know You or what is right. This is because their hearts are far from You and Your words are not in their hearts. Instead, their opinions trump what You’ve already taught us in scripture and new doctrines come out that lead people astray. This is so sad to see but also so true. I do not wish people in the faith to be led out and unto false doctrines, but I also cannot convince everyone to search the Bible daily and pray often. This I need the people to do on their own. And I know that the only way that this can happen is if they align themselves with Your Word. Then, will they be led out of darkness and into Your light. And as Your presence comes over them, will they understand the truth and be set free from every false teaching and doctrine of this world. This I pray Lord that people’s hearts will open up to You , understand Your laws, repent of their sins, and abide in them. I know that we are safe when we do what You say. This is true love when we keep Your commandments Lord. I know this to be true for it brings me great joy. I love You so much God. Amen.

1 Timothy 1:8-10 (KJV)
8 But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;
9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;

1 Timothy 1:3-5 (KJV)
3 As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine,
4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.
5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:
