The topic of Halloween is very serious. To downplay the utter darkness that abides in that holiday is to deceive yourself of the evil’s therein. Here are just a few of the things you will participate in, if you are not wise and remove yourself from it. As you go on the streets with friends or family, you will then be in the midst of other kids and adults dressed up in costumes. Though some may not seem vile in its nature, there are still many others in zombie, skeleton, alien, faceless persons, and the like costumes. Being in the mix with them is causing the darkness of Satan to permeate in your body and soul. God’s light is then immediately shut off, while darkness seeps in. This is because you have openly allowed such wickedness to come in. It is like Satan had an open invite to come in and he did so. While on the streets, there are also spooky decorations, ghosts hanging on trees, haunted houses and the like. All of these things bring evil spirits in a person and their families homes. And why do so-called Christians celebrate such wickedness? It is because their hearts are far from God. These people love 1“darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil”, as Jesus said. Jesus does not tolerate such filth and any form of wickedness. If you are among those people that enjoy Halloween, then you have much to repent for.
Those that are being led by God can see what is wicked and what is righteous. Everything that is of the world is made crystal clear to them. These Christians learn to avoid such evil and therefore stay in the light of Christ. If you are doing this, then your life is lit up and you have nothing to fear, for your joy is evident in the things of God. However, if your life is dark and you feel pooled to do things therein, then your heart is also contrary to God. Jesus spoke on this matter, when he said, 1“every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.” This should make you worry and feel very shameful, for it is God that is reprimanding you. I want you to think of your life, even this very moment. How is your vision? Can you now see the darkness in Halloween? I hope and pray that this message has tugged at your heart and have shown you utter filth that you have allowed in your life, while participating therein. Know that it was not my words but the Holy Spirit that touches and moves people to repentance. If you have experienced a change of heart or are on the side of God from the beginning, then praise God for the vision, God has given you. You now see for God is your guide. Therefore, continue in the Lord’s light and do not participate. Shun even the appearance of evil and turn off your lights on this holiday.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that you will shine your light upon us. Give us vision, dear Lord. Cause us to uphold what is righteous and hate what is evil. Just as you love the sinner but hate the sin, may we also do the same when it comes to the wickedness of this world. May we never be partakers in evil things that only cause Your light to scatter. One of these wicked and vile things that I worry so much about Lord is Halloween. I know for a fact that many so-called Christians are on the streets with their kids on that day. And as their kids are going out trick-or-treating, the darkness of that day is seeping into their lives. So much darkness is contained in the costumes and haunted houses, that I fear for their souls. I do not wish these same people to get caught up in the acts of Satan, this year. May these people learn of the darkness that is contained therein and stay far away from it. Just as You have told Paul to avoid all appearance of evil, I ask that You help people to understand that Halloween is also evil and to avoid it as well. It did take a coming out of my addiction to finally come to Your light and see the darkness of Halloween, but now I am able to spot it at first glance. You have given me vision Lord and I pray that more people will begin to be guided by You. I love You Lord. Amen.

1John 3:12-21 (KJV)
12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
