Praise Be To Jesus: Hymn

1. Praise be to Jesus, who died for our transgressions!
Christ, the anointed Messiah, God, and King.
Blessed to come down to earth for our redemption.
Extol the Lord and give Him His praise and worship.

[Chorus]
Give way to King Jesus. He reigns supreme!
People who fight against Him do it in vain.
He Speaks to His people.  The Holy Spirit guides them.
Jesus conquered death and we shall live with Him.

2. The Lord is with us, through the Holy Spirit.
Blessed and holy is the Lord God Almighty. Lift His Name high!
His blood was shed for us on the cross that we might be saved.
It gives way to our redemption. Our Savior died for us.

3. His glory has no end. He is our High Priest.
He governs His kingdom in the midst of His believers.
God is faithful and true to His promises for us.
Our King reigns and is greater than all the prophets of old.

4. Jesus’s sacrifice opens up mercy and grace from heaven.
The door has been opened for anyone to know Him and be saved.
The redemption is nigh at hand. Wake up to know the Lord.
One day all the world shall bow down before their King, Jesus.

“O sing unto the Lord a new song: sing unto the Lord, all the earth. Sing unto the Lord, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.” (Psalm 96:1,2)

  1. Very Biblical. Full of Scriptural thoughts that glorify Christ. If it has good music to go with it, it may be catch on. It’s both the words and music that make those old hymns so precious. Do you write music? If not, show it to someone who does. It may require some word changes to flow with the music. We could sure use some more hymns. I don’t care for much of the new choruses that are out there. They don’t have the deep meaning that hymns have. You have a question that is awaiting your answer regarding your view on faith + works on your site.

  2. Amen! Sing a song of praise to His name. Sing aloud for His fame. All of creation bows their head in deep prayer till their dead. They worship Him evermore above. They sing of his justice, righteousness and love. Let every tongue confess His truth and put their voices to good use. We sing unto Him tonight. He is the way, the truth and the life. His name is Jesus the Christ. Our Lord God is coming back to earth. We all need the new birth.

  3. Amen! That was a really wonderful song. It’s beautiful to be covered and washed and cleansed in and by and through and with His blood. It’s wonderful to sing od His sacrifice on the cross and our redemption from hell. He alone is worthy for heaven but we have His perfection and righteousness imputer to us and that makes us worthy for heaven too.

  4. By grace are we saved, not of works, lest any man should boast, as Paul said. Works are simply the fruit of our faith. Amen.
