I cherish every moment to be with God. My time, studying the Bible, cannot be replaced. God’s teachings are profound and life changing. The moments I have in prayer, are matchless. I love His presence. The Lord is my strength, who shall I fear? I am strengthened every day that I seek to know Him. Jesus is my light and I abide in Him. It is His endless love for me and all mankind that I am saved. I was so lost until I found Jesus. Then I discovered a love that never ends. What the Lord offers my life and others cannot be compared too. For His love is greater than all the world can offer. 2Because of the cross I have new life. The blood that Jesus shed for us was the most significant event of all mankind. People looked for a Savior, for hundreds of years, that would free them from their sins. A person that would pay the ultimate sacrifice for them. They were lost without Him. Jesus did come and loved us so much as to die for us. We have forgiveness because of His mercy. When you have felt the joy that comes from a life restored through Him, there is no turning back. We are encaptured by the beauty of the Lord. The Holy Spirit comes into our lives and sheds light in the darkness. We were once blinded by the things of this world but can now see. Our eyes have been opened to the glory of God. This joy overtakes us from within. We cannot hold the joy inside any longer, that Jesus gives us. We feel honored to share His love to the world. We can feel the love of the Lord, and want others to know about it. We’d feel so bad if we never told anybody about the great joy in our lives.
It is an honor to serve the King of Glory. God is all powerful and I am honored to follow Him. I delight to do His will. I meditate on His Word that His teachings may abide in my heart. 1“I have preached righteousness” to the people of Boise, for I am not ashamed to declare my love for Jesus. 1“I have not refrained my lips” for I know the Lord will fill them with the power of the Holy Spirit. When I open my mouth, I pray that God does the talking, through me. I ask that the Spirit always be the one that does the convicting. Who am I to bring someone to Christ unless Jesus is living inside of me. I cannot bear fruits of righteousness if I am not guided through Him. Like tonight, as Joan and I went out to do a few follow-ups, I asked the Lord to be with us. I trusted in God and He came through. We were able to share the gospel with two wonderful people. Though each person was different, they both had ears to hear. They allowed the Spirit to speak to their hearts. For the lady, it was encouraging to see her seek the Lord, even if it is in private. To see her love for the Lord and seek to know Him, encouraged me in my faith. I was grateful for her humbleness. For the man we talked to, I am blessed to see His desire to study the Bible through audio books. He desires to grow in the Word, and wants to have us over to do Bible study. Praise the Lord. Both of these wonderful visits happened because we were willing to open our mouths for Him. Sometimes, that is all it takes and the Lord will do the rest.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I am so grateful to know You. Even after knowing my sinful lifestyle, You still saw potential in me. You saw a life in Christ before it even happened. I didn’t think I could escape my addictions but You gave me hope. I had no way to control my flesh but You helped me take control. I was unable to live a life worthy for You, until I gave You my trust. Then You did the rest. Lord, because of Your forgiveness and mercy, I am restored. I have come to realize how important You are to me, every day of my life. I don’t want to keep it to myself. I want everyone to feel of Your love. I want everyone to come to a relationship with You. I believe that You have the power to save lives. Lead me to the lost. Do Your work inside of me. I love You. Amen.
