Believe in Jesus and make yourselves right with Him. No longer dwell in sin for God hates sin. The Holy Spirit cannot be with you if you are 4destroying God’s temple. Hebrews 10 teaches, 5“For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins.” Over time, if there is no repentance and our sinful lifestyle doesn’t change then there is no forgiveness for Jesus isn’t with us. Because of the lusts of our flesh we have become blinded to His goodness. The proud are not able to partake of His sacrifice for sins because they are far from Him. Psalm 10 reads, 1“For the wicked boasteth of his heart’s desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the Lord abhorreth.” God’s wrath is upon all those that deny His words and live for themselves. They are not building up treasures in heaven but the fiery judgement from God. A great example of someone that is not a Christian is a person that 1“will not seek after God”. They’d rather do things there way instead of make time for God. This lifestyle leads to spiritual death and is not tolerated by God. In contrary, a life for God is a new beginning. As new believers begin to 2“love the Lord” and “hate evil”, God is able to do many great things in their lives. He even has power to deliver His people 2“out of the hand of the wicked.” Darkness has no power over them for “light is sown for the righteous”. No longer toil in things that only lead to pain and misery. In your great sorrows, come to the Lord and repent. Confess your sins and follow Him. God’s free gift of grace is waiting for all that truly believe in Him.
The sinner that repents and trusts in Jesus are saved. They have no fear of judgement. Judgement is only fearful for the wicked that dies in their sins. If you were washed by the blood of the Lamb then you have done what He has asked of you. It’s the wicked that thinks they are just fine for they believe they have what they need in life to be happy. God’s judgement isn’t even in their thoughts because of their pride. All this pride will one day come crashing down. God’s vengeance will be on the unrighteous in death. For in their lustful desires they 5“hath trodden under foot the Son of God”. 3To be in the presence of God in His great wrath is not something I wish anyone should have to bear but unfortunately this is the outcome of most people. I pray that people’s ears are opened to God’s words. I don’t wish anyone to go to hell but this will be the outcome if people don’t repent and come to Jesus. 5“It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” To die when we’ve had ample opportunities to repent is a very sorrowful thing. People think they have so much time to make themselves right with God but death can come to anyone, even tomorrow. Therefore, live as if today is our last. Give your whole hearts over to Jesus that He may do a work in your life. No longer live in fear but in the love of Jesus.
Let us pray:
Thank You Lord for delivering me from a life of sin. I was willfully sinning but you pulled me out of it. You heard my cries and had mercy. Thank you for giving me another chance to follow You. I rejoice in Your great Name. I need Your holiness every day of my life. I love You. Amen.
