I’d encourage you all to look closely at the church you attend. 2Does it lift up all of the Bible or just part of it? Does the church only teach on what they believe in? If this seems like the church you attend, I ask, why do you go to it? Do you go because you live a certain way and that church better suits your beliefs? What I am witnessing in a lot of today’s churches really sickens me. Instead of giving sermons that would help people grow in what all the Bible teaches, they’d rather skip parts of the Bible in order to better suit their congregation. They do this to not offend people that are living a certain lifestyle. Some churches even add to the teachings of the Bible to better suit their faith. There are church leaders that even teach on things based on their own lifestyle. This way of thinking is not of God but of man. In judgement, these pastors, bishops, priests, popes, prophets and other so-called Christians will soon have a wake-up call. They may even say, 4“Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” What Jesus said is true. If our hearts are not all for Him then they are against Him. 1If anyone proclaims to be a believer of Jesus they must also love all of His teachings. 6They must not be ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Bible is the word of God and it is meant to convict the hearts of the sinner and move them to repent. 5The Holy Spirit should always be what teaches and not our own man made beliefs. All man made doctrines should be cast aside and burned. Your desires should be to 1“hate every false way” and love everything that is of God.
5There is no other way to heaven but through Jesus Christ. The words of the Bible are our guide. Those that read God’s word daily will know the way. You will know that your lifestyle is wicked by reading the Bible. The scriptures will convict your hearts and lead you to change. If you seek the Lord in prayer then you will find Him. The Lord says, 3“ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” He knows the hearts of the people and who is abiding in His love and who is not. We are either conforming in the ways of God or conforming in the ways of the world. Those that do the will of the Lord, proclaim God’s word and live by it. They lift up the Lord Jesus to others and in how they live. A true believer will declare that we must believe in Jesus to be saved. Belief in Jesus is to 6“live by faith”. Those that do not the will of God, only teach and live by parts of the Bible. They’d rather not teach everything in order to not lose members by offending them. Most times, these churches will give a good sermon but not encourage people to read the Bible. This is what needs to stop. 2All of the Bible is true. If a person desires to preach then they must also not be ashamed at what it says. They must not be afraid of telling people to repent of their sins. Everyone that is in sin, must repent and trust in Jesus to be saved. Going to church alone will not do us any good.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray for the churches today. Oh how wicked they have become. Convict the church leaders to change their ways. Counsel them to teach all the Bible and to encourage their members to read it. All the scriptures are a delight to my soul. I know You speak through every word. I delight in Your ways and will follow You till the end. Amen.
Let us read the Bible:
