Tonight, Kevin and I went out sharing the love of Jesus with everyone we could. We prayed that it would be God’s words in our mouths and not ours. Our focus was to put Jesus first in our conversations with the lost and to help Christians remember Him daily. Anybody that had a heart to listen to the gospel we shared it with love. Anybody willing to accept the Bible we gave it with a reminder to read it for God speaks through every word. The Holy Spirit worked within us and His gospel was taught. Eyes were opened to the importance of Jesus in our everyday walk. We talked with a couple that accepted Jesus a while back but had since strayed a little from His love. Our message to them was to keep a prayer in their hearts and stay focused on the Lord. Although the Holy Spirit may not be with us now it doesn’t have to be that way. If we seek the Lord often the Spirit will return like a wildfire in our hearts. No matter what path the world has taken us, God can deliver us back into His love. I told them the reason I am out preaching the gospel is that Jesus changed my life. I was once dead but He made me alive. Though I was wicked his holiness now abides in my life. We prayed for them and asked that God would help them find shelter and have enough food. We also prayed over another man that was homeless that was in need of food, money and shelter. After the prayer we encouraged Him to look to God and He would supply His needs. That Jesus is all we need to be happy.
There was a certain man that the Spirit lead us to tonight. He had never known the Lord but knew that there was a God. Kevin shared the good news of Jesus, the cross, forgiveness, grace and the resurrection to him. We told him that all those that believe in Jesus and walk in His ways will be saved. It didn’t have to be battle for we aren’t saved by works. It is our faith and the passion in our hearts for Jesus that we walk with Him. We told Him that only Jesus has power to save us and to take us to heaven. That hell is real and nobody that goes there would want to go back. He agreed and we asked him if he would accept Jesus in his heart. He said yes, and Kevin helped him say the sinners prayer. As he accepted Jesus in his life you could see this new joy in his soul. He was so happy as he said each word. After the prayer his countenance was lit up. We gave each other hugs and were so overjoyed by his desire to come to Jesus. I gave him my devotional card and asked him to contact me via email to stay in touch. God truly used us this night to share His gospel, pray over others and win souls for Him. Many miracles took place tonight as lives were turned to Christ. Thank You Lord for Your gospel message. I love to share it for the impact it has made in my life. I want all the world to know of Your love. I want them to feel the love You have put in my heart. I am overjoyed to know You and to tell people about You. Everything I do is for You. I love You.

8 Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:
9 Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.
10 Therefore I endure all things for the elect’s sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
