Psalm 82 starts off by saying, “God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.” Who are these people that are called gods?
Those that trample on God’s laws will be dealt with harshly. Now is the time to repent or else the wrath of God will be felt.
David explained how we can escape God’s wrath and anger. He said, “Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man whom thou madest strong for thyself.”
Blessed is Mary to be the mother of the Son of God. She declared, “he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name.”
After talking with Herod, the wise men “departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.”
Mary wondered how she could be pregnant, being kept modest in all things before the Lord. She had waited till marriage for any sexual relations.
Soon after this visitation, the angel also visited Joseph. He told him to not fear his wife’s pregnancy for what she is carrying “is of the Holy Ghost.”
Many centuries passed but this sign of the baby Jesus’s birth was not forgotten. People anxiously awaited the coming of their King.
Jesus is called wonderful, counselor, mighty God, everlasting Father, the prince of peace. His peace has no end. He is our judge and judges us with justice.
The prophesy of the Lord’s birth, in Isaiah 7 and 8, was fulfilled in Matthew 1. The wait was finally over. The birth of the Messiah had finally come to pass.
The blood of the saints will cry out against the evil men and women of the world. At the same time, God’s people will never stop praising the Lord.
Many things we are attached to in life are idols and must be forsaken to be in His will. Look at the second commandment, for instance.

Being led by God is much different than being led by your own self and hoping or thinking you are saved.

When the name of God is being dishonored, even our words, most times, won’t make a difference.
I have met so many people that call themselves Christians, however, their life is not for the Lord. They live apart from His will.
What the Lord can do through us in prayer is more than we will ever know. Until we have given our hearts to God we will never know what this means.
Only Satan desires that you stay in a place where people’s ears are being tickled but the Word of God is being silenced.
There was a time, in days past, that each of us lived apart from God. We did what the lusts of the flesh desired.
My destination was also hell. My old life was so far gone. I had no control over my flesh. When it was weak, I gave into the pleasures it desired.
It is true that each of us have a choice to believe in and follow Jesus. However, one way or another, all will, one day, “bow down before him”.
Shortly after talking with these two gentlemen, my walk led me to another awesome discussion with a wonderful young man.
It is a very sad day when a family member or friend passes away, that didn’t believe in God for salvation.
If God has come to your rescue, then rejoice. Give Him thanks. Don’t just pray and receive but pray and give thanks. Give praise to the one who saves.
Come humbly before God in prayer. Confess your sins and lay your addictions at the feet of Jesus. Admit that you are a sinner and need a Savior.
Upon arriving to their temple, I was energized to talk with as many people as I could. I invited everyone walking down the sidewalk to take the handout.
Then Lord, You led me to speak to this homeless man. He was so angry because of his current situation and even thought you caused it.
I continued to talk with these gentlemen and saw, in their faces, how moved they were through my story.
