We are told to be humble and sober-minded. This way we will be teachable and ready to receive what God wants to tell us.

Now, in 1 Corinthians, chapter 6, we learn of the consequences of staying in our current wicked lifestyle without repenting.
Paul taught that Christians should “flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.”
If you are among such people that are known for drinking wine and other strong alcoholic drinks, then beware for your soul, for it is at stake.
I pray that everyone in the faith that has a drinking problem will eventually come to their senses and give it over to God in prayer.
To know of God’s laws and disobey them anyways is to walk away from His will. To be in God’s ministry, we must put off the natural man.
We are to “watch and be sober”. Understand that the night crowd can easily lead you astray, so stay vigilant and go to bed when it is night.
