Jared in the Bible supposedly lived around 3544-2582 BC, which we see in Genesis 5. I am mentioning Jared since you see a brother of Jared in the Book of Mormon.
1 Peter 3:12 (KJV)
12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.
God listens to those who confess their sins and forsakes them, not people who willfully sin. Unanswered prayers are for a reason.
1 Peter 3:18-22 (KJV) 18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: 19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; 20 Which sometime were disobedient,
Baptism is very important to our salvation. This is when we put on Christ and tell Him that we desire to walk in the Spirit now.
1 Peter 3:15,16 (KJV)
15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
16 Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.
The Book of Mormon (BOM) is said to be the most correct book on earth, according to Mormons. For that reason, let us put it to the test.
If we love the Lord, we will seek Him always. Each time we come to the Lord in prayer let us pray for our spouse. That we might grow together in the Lord.
Jesus came down to save us all from sin. We needed a Savior to give us new life. We would be lost without Him. We would be forever stuck in our sins.
