“Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.” (Ephesians 5:6-12)
If you say you are a Christian and see no issue with Halloween, then God is not with you, and you have much need to repent. Why is it hard to see the evils therein? I am afraid that people are watching too much TV, playing too many video games, listening to the wrong kinds of music, going to the wrong types of concerts, and hanging out with the wrong crowds. When this happens, people’s minds get warped. They may still go to church on the weekends, but if their hearts are not for God during the week, then they are simply putting on a show. They are not all in when it comes to doing the Lord’s will. This is evident when they celebrate Halloween. Doing this year after year is like slapping God in the face. You are telling Him that you don’t care about being sinful on this day, and during the month, with your decorations. You are choosing to live this day like everyone else does in the world. This is done in darkness, while being led by Satan, not being aware of it. But now you know the truth. Celebrating Halloween is a blatant and willful sin. Don’t get caught up in it for the Lord’s sake.
The month of Halloween is so wicked. If you cannot see this, then the Holy Spirit is missing in your life. Can’t you see the evils in the decorated houses, the outfits, haunted houses, the parties, and more. True Christians can see the darkness. God wants to be a part of your life, but why are you deciding to put Him to the wayside this one day out of the year? The Lord can see your hearts intents and will judge you based upon this. If you have been warned about the evils of Halloween, but continue to ignore them, then what are you telling God? These promptings will be used against these people on judgment day. And let this be known. If people don’t have the Holy Spirit with them, then they are not born again and will not inherit the kingdom of God when they die. It will be terrible for people to know that their part is with the unbelievers because of their bad choices in life. They had a choice to know Jesus, and be led by the Holy Spirit, but they neglected this opportunity to be used for God’s kingdom. Therefore, they are an unworthy servant of God, Christian by name only, and are unsaved. These people have a great need to repent and come to Jesus now while they still have time. Amen.
