Be sound in what the Lord wants you to do and not what the world wants. Even in our trials and struggles in life, our desire to be vigilant for the lord is still visible. This is when we want to be saved more than ever. To acknowledge that we are in sin is huge, for it means that we desire to be saved and acknowledge that we are a sinner and need God’s grace to cover us. We no longer wish to stomp upon the blood of Jesus but need His blood to cleanse of all our sins. God’s Word is our delight, for it gives us hope. You know that we fall when we stop reading the Bible? But when we acknowledge Him and start reading, we are comforted once again. My friends, do not forget the Lord and His wisdom for mankind. This life is short, and it is important to get right with the Lord while we still have time. David also said, “let my heart be sound in thy statutes; that I be not ashamed. My soul fainteth for thy salvation: but I hope in thy word. Mine eyes fail for thy word, saying, When wilt thou comfort me? For I am become like a bottle in the smoke; yet do I not forget thy statutes.” (Psalm 119:80-83)
We got soldiers out there winning souls for Christ. But even two of these people that I am friends with have passed away this year. One named Mark, and another named Ruben. I loved their devotion to the Lord and to share God’s truth with others. They knew of God’s judgments and were bold to tell others also. Who is it that hates me and these witnesses for Christ? The proud. Each time I go out in public and preach the gospel it seems like these people hate me and other street preachers the most. The LGBTQ community, and others who are prideful, have a thing against Christians for some reason or not, even though we only wish to help them. God’s commands are so important and these people persecute us in vain. Lastly, David said, “how many are the days of thy servant? when wilt thou execute judgment on them that persecute me? The proud have digged pits for me, which are not after thy law. All thy commandments are faithful: they persecute me wrongfully; help thou me.” (Psalm 119:84-86) Remember what David said and stay strong in the Lord, even when persecuted. Amen.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray for this lost generation. I am living in the midst of Sodom and Gomorrah once again. People are so lost in their sinful state, although Your faithful are still here seeking You daily. We love You God, but acknowledge that the faithful are dwindling. Each year, new people are coming out as part of the LGBTQ and causing our children to think it is right. This is so crazy and causing so many Christian families to go astray. Lord, help people stay head strong in what is righteous and holy. What I see in the midst of the wicked people is perversion and sexual immorality. And not just this, but that they bask in it as if it is ok and not sinful. God, Satan has twisted their minds into thinking that there is no shame in what they are doing. It is very sad when I go to their festivals with my sign and preach the good news of the gospel, and still they come and spit at me. Lord, I also see people in religious sects that are not any different. They mock me in the same fashion. I am called the worst to ever live, but I know that this persecution will come as I continue to share Your truths with the world. I will not fail You, Jesus. I love You. Amen.
Those who stand for the teachings of the Bible will be hated.
Amen! The world will hate us because it hates Jesus. This is sad but true.
