Praise God and His words in the Bible. Don’t forget Him by lettings God’s Word be void in your life. Trust in God. The more you do this, you will not fear what people can do to you and your body. You will rebuke Satan also and not give in to him or his desires also. David wrote, “in God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.” (Psalm 56:4) God hears our cries and punishes the wicked. He is for us and on our side as we trust in Him. Remember praise God and His Words. The more you learn from God in prayer and through reading the Bible, give Him thanks. I praise the Lord for His Words, for I am blessed knowing God’s stance for me and this world. David continued, “when I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know; for God is for me. In God will I praise his word: in the Lord will I praise his word.” (Psalm 56:9,10)
I put my trust in God and not man. He is my shield and I have no fear of what people may do to me. I vow my life to follow Jesus. To render my praises to the Lord and not man is the least I can do, for He has saved me. God has delivered me from hell. My friends, our faith in Jesus saves us and heaven is our reward. God helps us from sinning and giving into temptation. This is when we call Him when in danger. This way we can walk in the light of our Lord God and Savior. David wrote, “in God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me. Thy vows are upon me, O God: I will render praises unto thee. For thou hast delivered my soul from death: wilt not thou deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living?” (Psalm 56:11-13) In God I trust. He is my rock and my firm foundation. Thank You, Jesus, for saving a wretch like me. Amen.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that people will learn what it means to call upon Your Name and to also praise You because of Your words in the Bible. Too many people think that You are distant and pray so quickly and without thought. They forget that You are omnipresent, which means Your presence can be with us wherever we are. God, I know that You are here right now with me. In this room, Your presence is all around me. Do I have to look in a certain direction when I pray? No. For wherever I look, You are there. I want You to know how much I love You, and also strive to show this same love to people. So often have I missed the mark and got my big mouth in trouble, and I am sorry. Forgive me, Lord, for saying things to people I shouldn’t. I regret these bad choices. Help me to fight temptation and fleshly desires. Shine Your light upon me, that I might walk in Your ways, Jesus. I love You, Lord. Amen.
