The Lord Jesus will be here, ruling and reining, sooner than we think and every faithful follower of Christ will be there with Him. We are surely in the last days before the coming of the Lord. What a great time it is to look forward to His coming and to one day have Him be among us. Soon, everything we know now will be changed. And we are able to get a glimpse of what this will look like from the eyes if Isaiah. He said, 1“it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.” How glorious a time this will be to have the tabernacle of God on earth and Jesus ruling and reining therein. Surely, all the faithful believers of God will be among the people of this time. And as the prophet Isaiah spoke of, we will all be wanting to come to the mountain of the Lord and learn of His ways. This will be a time of order. Because Jesus is ever present, His peace will be among us and His ways will prevail upon all the lands.
When the Lord Jesus comes to rule and reign on the earth, His laws will be established. Every nation will be under His control. Isaiah puts it best, when he speaks of Jesus and this time. It is recorded, 1“and he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the Lord.” Here, we learn of many things that Jesus will do while He reigns supreme. He will judge the people of all nations and at the same time rebuke many people as well. For if their ways are not for Him, it will be made known. There will be no more war. The things that we often used therein will no longer be necessary but changed to be used for God’s kingdom. And lastly, peace and love will fill the lands as people’s desires will be turned to walk in the light of the Lord Jesus. The things you are doing now will either permit you to be there or ban you, depending on your walk with Christ. If you are not worthy now, then repent and allow the blood of Jesus to cover you. All the Lord asks is that you come unto Him. He will then do the rest, if are humble. Are you desirous to learn of Jesus and to walk in His ways?
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I earnestly await Your coming. I love to learn from Your Words and it will be even more amazing to learn of You, while in Your presence. I cannot get enough of Your wisdom, oh Lord. Please allow me to be in Your mix, when You do come again. I want to be with You Lord and serve You all the days of my life.. To Jerusalem, I will go, in order to be used by You, dear God, in any way possible. Your light is what guides me now and to be in Your midst will be the best thing I could ever ask for. I want more of You, Jesus. So have Your way in me now. May Your Holy Spirit move inside of me and allow me to be Your witness. You are everything I could ever ask for and to follow In Your ways is an honor. I am delighted to be a part of Your great plan. May I ever walk in Your ways. Keep me focused on Your will above mine own. May I remember what is most important above the desires of the flesh. Keep me in Your ways. Lead me away from temptation and build me up in Your armor. All the days of my life will I serve You, my King. And when You return, my heart will be filled with gladness and great joy. I can’t wait to be with my King forevermore. I love You Lord. Amen.
