The Lord God knoweth all things. He can see His true followers and those that only believe in name only. Many people can put on a good show but God can see who truly loves Him and their neighbor. Those that God calls Christians, are worthy to receive His blessings forevermore. God’s chosen people live their life for Christ. They lean upon the Lord for strength and guidance through the Bible. They pray and lift up their thanks and praises to Jesus, for His mercy. God’s love overflows into their lives and the lives of others. Repentance is at their hearts, always, for they were once so wicked but God has done a work inside of them. Through God’s grace, they are cleansed by the blood of Jesus. Wouldn’t it be great if the Lord God would call you in, unto Him and say, 2“Well done, thou good and faithful servant.” All His servants will, one day, receive this call. This can happen to you also but unfortunately, most people will not be greeted in this manner. Here is why. The Lord can see that this generation of church goers do not live out their faith. God looks at them and says, 4“I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.” These people are Lukewarm and have no right to be called Christian. You see, going to church does not save anybody. It is your response to God’s message that does something in your life. You can either keep willfully sinning or repent and come to Christ. It is your choice. It is dangerous to squander your time and continue to live without God.
When the Lord takes us in, we are all given talents. Some few and some many. What have you done with God’s gifts in your life? Have you discovered these gifts and are allowing the Lord to help you develop them fully? This is so important. You are either letting the Lord use you or you are not. If you are following the Holy Spirit then you are on the path that leads to heaven. There are fruits that come from your faith. People can’t help but notice your love for God and others. If you are forgoing your time with God and only doing things to please the flesh, then congratulations, you are among the many that are not saved. Believe me, this is not good. 1“Many are called, but few are chosen.” God has called you over and over, but it is up to You to answer His call. You can continue to appear Christian and live a worldly lifestyle or respond to God and repent. You will not be saved by the skin of their teeth. 3After death, comes judgement. There is no asking God for second chances. God is calling you and others out. Will you answer? Don’t make light of this and go on your own ways. The Lord is sending His messengers into 1“the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.” Will you be one of the few people that God gathers? Your response is vital to your salvation. Those that call upon God, He 4“will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” They will not be thrown into hell, where there is 1“weeping and gnashing of teeth”, but saved forever in heaven.
Let us pray:
Lord, I pray that people will answer Your call, this day. As You beckon them to come to You, may they have an open ear. May their hearts be open to receive You. Let the Spirit pierce their hearts, in order to repent of their sins. My heart aches to know that so many church goers are on the wide gate to hell. It is sad that most these people don’t even realize the life they are leading. Lord, help them know that we cannot continue to willfully sin and still believe in You. There must be a change of heart and mind. We must be born again. Help them realize how desperate they really are to have You as their Savior. We cannot do anything to save ourselves but only You, Jesus. We need Your mercy and forgiveness. We need Your power in our lives, in order to brake the chains of addiction. Will You come into each our lives now. Take refuge in our hearts and have your way within us. I will follow You, my King. I love You. Amen.

1Matthew 22:1-14 (KJV)
1 And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said,
2 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son,
3 And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.
4 Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.
5 But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:
6 And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.
7 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.
8 Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.
9 Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.
10 So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.
11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:
12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
14 For many are called, but few are chosen.
2Matthew 25:13-30 (KJV)
13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
14 For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.
15 And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.
16 Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.
17 And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.
18 But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord’s money.
19 After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.
20 And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.
21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
22 He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.
23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
24 Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:
25 And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.
26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:
27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.
28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.
29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.
30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
3Hebrews 9:26-28 (KJV)
26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
4Revelation 3:14-22 (KJV)
14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
