All of us are special in the Lord’s eyes. He created each of us for a purpose. We were all given different skill sets that make us unique. If we just let the Lord come into our lives, our talents will begin to blossom. Many of us have gifts from God hidden deep down inside of us. They may not even be exposed yet. I went 36 years before I found out I could write God’s message. I always felt deficient with words before I gave my life to Jesus. I would always try studying different vocabulary words but it never helped. I continued to feel inadequate about myself and stayed away from writing and speaking to much. Now that the Lord has taken hold of my life, the skill of writing has come to light. The Lord has opened my mind to his teachings. As I read, He gives me understanding on how the scripture relates to us now. I am grateful that I can now relate these things to people through my messages. I am grateful to speak the truth of the Word of God. God boosted my confidence in sharing the gospel and I am proud to present it to the world. Thank You Lord for blessing me so much.
When we start coveting another person’s lifestyle and talents we are only doubting our own abilities. We should not make ourselves out to be someone we aren’t. This is unhealthy and is not necessary for we are all great in the sight of God. When Jacob disguised himself to be like Esau, just to obtain the first blessing from his father, he was only setting himself up for heartache with his father and brother. There must be boundaries set in our lives. We must set our eyes on the Lord and trust in Him. By doing so, we shall do many great things. God can make each of us strong if we believe in Him. To seek the Lord means to let Him do a work inside our hearts. Since only God knows us fully, He can help show you any talents you haven’t discovered yet. Our skills will come to light and bring us much joy. The Lord is love and only has the best intentions for us. Let the Lord awaken your soul to do mighty things in His Name. The Lord is my joy. He fills me with much gladness. I wish I could express to each of you how much I love the Lord. I cannot contain my love for Him.
Genesis 27:11-17
11 And Jacob said to Rebekah his mother, “Look, Esau my brother is a hairy man, and I am a smooth-skinned man.
12 Perhaps my father will feel me, and I shall seem to be a deceiver to him; and I shall bring a curse on myself and not a blessing.”
13 But his mother said to him, “Let your curse be on me, my son; only obey my voice, and go, get them for me.”
14 And he went and got them and brought them to his mother, and his mother made savory food, such as his father loved.
15 Then Rebekah took the choice clothes of her elder son Esau, which were with her in the house, and put them on Jacob her younger son.
16 And she put the skins of the kids of the goats on his hands and on the smooth part of his neck.
17 Then she gave the savory food and the bread, which she had prepared, into the hand of her son Jacob.
