Is your faith centered on Jesus? Have you surrendered your heart to Him? The Lord desires that we have faith in Him. We please God when our belief is centered on Him. As we walk in faith our hearts will be turned to God. We will want live like Jesus. The Lord doesn’t expect us to be perfect but He is overjoyed when we repent. Each time we come to the Lord in prayer and ask Him for forgiveness our faith is strengthened. We give up our pride and God replaces it with meekness. Our hearts become submissive to Him. Jesus is delighted in us when we put Him first. He will reward all those that fully trust and believe in Him. The Lord desires that we read the Bible and have faith in Him. You may not see Him but if you follow Him you will know Him. You will begin to feel His presence each time you pray.
Jesus, You are my reward. I may not see You but I feel Your Holy Spirit and it confirms to me the truth. I love the Bible and how it testifies of You. Each day I learn something new about You. I love how I feel when I pray. You are always by my side. I can feel your holy presence. My heart is growing closer to You each day. The spirit witnesses that You are my Savior. Through your grace I can be saved. My faith is fully entrusted in You. I live every moment to follow You. I lift my hands high to praise You. My faith is growing stronger each day. Your love abounds in my heart. There surely is nothing that compares to your love. May our faith grow stronger in the Lord each day, that we might all come to know Him better.
1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2 For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.
3 By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
4 By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks.
5 By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
