I pray that these same desires to follow Jesus is yours also. Getting to know Him through daily Bible study and prayer is very important to our souls.
In these last four years my passion to read the Bible daily has been burning inside of me. It is no longer a chore to do, but a part of who I am now.
During the time of plagues, like the coronavirus, we are directed to pray. To see the plagues in our hearts and cry out for mercy.
When we find ourselves mixing with things outside the faith, the Word does not profit us. It speaks against our sins and pains us to the core.
It is a blessing to have the Bible in our midst today. It is breathed from God and we have the opportunity to learn from our King, as we read.
Start reading the Bible daily and then you will begin to pray like never before. Even your desires to serve God will be increased.
There are missing scriptures in the Bible, but many of these scriptures are not so lost but are here for us to read today.
God hates divorce. However, if someone is considering this, His Word says that fornication or abandonment are reasons for it.
As believers in Jesus, we are not to take part in or start riots, but are peaceable people. We love God the same as we love one another.
Praise God and His words in the Bible. Don’t forget Him by lettings God’s Word be void in your life.
I know the more I do things that God wills for me, the more souls will be won for Him. We must be willing to let the Holy Spirit do the speaking through us.
When I stumble and fall I pick up the Bible and find renewed hope. When there is anguish and grief in my life I am comforted by the words of God.
Be ready and willing to test out God’s truth in the Bible. Don’t be deceived by man made beliefs.
Through reading the Bible we will know it is true. It is alive and God speaks through every each verse.
Jesus taught, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” The lives we are living outside of Christ will never save us.
Read the Bible daily. Pray that the Holy Spirit will be with you as you read. Meditate on the Word of God. Always have words on your mind.
The Spirit testifies that the Bible is true. We can come to know the Lord through reading it. Follow Him and hear His voice.
The Catholic Church’s Ten Commandments is a modified version of Exodus 20. It is not the same thing, but a very slim down version of the real deal.
