In the early church, it was never taught to do baptisms for the dead, perform marriage sealings, and ordain people to the priesthood.
Before you get the Mormon discussions, let me help you understand how these beliefs are false according to the Bible.
Mormon Teachings are in opposition with the Bible Teachings. This is obvious when we see the teachings side by side.
Mormons go through marriage sealings that extend into heaven, although Jesus taught that there is no marriage in heaven.
Matthew 22:29 (KJV)
29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
Sola Scriptura means that the Bible is the only infallible rule for theology. We know the Bible to be inerrant.
Angels and Jesus are a lot alike, except for Jesus being God. They can both transform their bodies and simply appear in a room if they want to.
Mormonism differs with Christianity in so many ways. They even disagree with core Christian doctrines.

11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:
12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
14 For many are called, but few are chosen.
Those who do proxy work for dead people are doing the works of Satan. He is thrilled with this type of work. God’s wrath is upon them.
Satan has masqueraded this Book of Mormon to appear to be of God, in order to lure in even the very elect of God.

28 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.
29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.
The teaching in Christianity that says there is no marriage in heaven for believers comes from Jesus’s own mouth.
The two greatest commandments were part of the old law. They help us love God and our neighbor as ourselves.
One day in heaven, God shall come and wipe away all tears from our eyes. There will be no more sorrow, nor death.

We won’t ever know what is God’s Word and His scriptures unless we read them for ourselves. Don’t just take people’s word for it.
Oh, that people would have a heart to fear God and keep His commandments in our time as in the past. This is God’s desire for us.
When we feel God is distant, do more than pray and read the Bible daily, but also go out of your comfort zone to bless others.
We don’t look down upon others because they are not of the faith. Instead, we show compassion, kindness, and love to everyone.
Unless we die to self and turn to God, then we will die in our sins. We can’t disregard God and His commandments and still expect to be saved.
During the time of plagues, like the coronavirus, we are directed to pray. To see the plagues in our hearts and cry out for mercy.
God’s people were surrounded with no way out, but to call upon the Lord God in prayer. Even their trumpets sounded, in order to get people’s attention that God is their deliverer.
All people that have faith in Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all, are redeemed and no longer in slavery because of the laws of Moses.

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Our love for God becomes real, as we go out in the world and begin to light it up. We see those people that are in need and care for them.
We have learned the importance of enduring persecution and temptation. That our love will extend towards others in the faith and outside the faith through evangelism.
So what does it make a person that forgets God’s commandments and still says that they have faith in and know the Lord Jesus?
God has no joy in Mormon missionaries and their service, for what they teach is blasphemy to God’s Word.
