Blessed is Mary to be the mother of the Son of God. She declared, “he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name.”
Mary wondered how she could be pregnant, being kept modest in all things before the Lord. She had waited till marriage for any sexual relations.
Soon after this visitation, the angel also visited Joseph. He told him to not fear his wife’s pregnancy for what she is carrying “is of the Holy Ghost.”
Many centuries passed but this sign of the baby Jesus’s birth was not forgotten. People anxiously awaited the coming of their King.
Being led by God is much different than being led by your own self and hoping or thinking you are saved.
My destination was also hell. My old life was so far gone. I had no control over my flesh. When it was weak, I gave into the pleasures it desired.
Then Lord, You led me to speak to this homeless man. He was so angry because of his current situation and even thought you caused it.
My precious Jesus. You are the reason why I live. Your mercy has set me free. The cross has given me hope for a new day. Thank You Lord.
God has spoken to my mind that I might see His glorious presence. I gave the Lord free access to my heart and have not looked back.
What you’ve once done for the Lord will mean nothing, if you are now living in habitual sin. You can’t say, Lord, but what about the mission trip I did 2 years ago.
The Lord God knows who loves or hates His words. Most people would rather walk in the ways of the world then change their ways.
People tend to live life freely and not fear death, but on the flip side, don’t understand the consequences of hell that awaits them.
We go through hard times, like our neighbor does. Wouldn’t it be awesome if they responded to help us. As Christians, we ought to give care for the needy.
The greatest joy we can have in our lives is through the love of Jesus. His love changes us to become men and women of valor.
Get back up when you sin. Humble yourself and come to God in prayer for deliverance. God continues to beckon us home, though we have strayed.
Thank the Lord for caring so deeply for your life. Without even thinking about it, God helps us get back on His path of righteousness.
There will be a day when everyone will be judged before the Lord, Jesus Christ. He can see the person we are today and the person we can become.
