During the endowment session in the Mormon temples, they perform many covenants at the altar. We covered the previous three covenants and the last one is called the "Law Of Consecration Covenant". This covenant is all about giving all their time and talents to their church, the kingdom of God, and establishing Zion on earth. In their minds, Christians are incapable of giving their time to God and His kingdom, but people who are part of His one and only true church, the "Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints". This is because we as Christians only have a portion of the truth, where the fullness is in their church alone. This is their claim and that is why they send their missionaries out in all the world. They are attempting to lead us, gentiles, into the true fold of Christ. This way our talents can be used for God's greater good. Otherwise, we are not God's servants or workers for His kingdom. Because is a false belief, but still they make a covenant in thinking they are right
Paul warned us about not following after false teachers or doing things in secret. Instead of giving in to what appears to be good, we expose them as evil. "Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil." (Ephesians 5:6-16)
If only Mormons knew what they were actually doing when they do covenants in their Mormon temples. What they are doing is putting themselves under an oath with Satan to never leave his church. I say Satan since it was always his plan to cause people in Christianity to doubt what the Bible says and put their trust in man-made thinking instead, which they call modern-day revelations. And under the influence of the devil, although they claim they are Christian like other Christians, deep down, they believe in only two types of churches, the church of God and the church of Satan. And so as they claim that we are from the church of Satan, being led by a different Spirit than Christians, they are really under the influence of the devil. And under this influence, they work all their lives for the benefit of their church in order to reach the highest degree of glory in heaven. This is a works-based salvation and is not of God but of the devil, and will get them nowhere in the next life. Amen.
