The truth is, homosexuality is more than a sin, but is an abomination to God. Therefore, it needs to be addressed more so than ever before in this dark and prideful world we live in. This is what God told Moses two different times. The Lord, our God, said, “thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.” (Leviticus 18:22) He continued and said, “If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.” (Leviticus 20:13) God is speaking of men lying with other men as they would do with women. Such vile and filthy acts are an abomination, so much so in this society that these people were put to death. The laws of God did not permit such thing, so these sinners were punished. But wait a second, naysayers will say that I just used the Old Testament, of which we are not under these laws. What they don’t realize is that Jesus did not come to destroy what God told Moses but to fulfill. Jesus said, “think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.” (Matthew 5:7) Therefore, these laws pertaining to homosexuality still apply today.
We know that homosexuality is still a sin because of one reason. God doesn’t change His mind when it comes to sin. This is because “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” (Hebrews 13:8) If this is the case, then we should read about homosexuality being evil in the New Testament, right? Of course. Paul taught, “for this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient.” (Romans 1:26-28) Men were leaving the natural use of the woman and now men were lying with men, like in times past. Because of lust, they were known by God for being in error and having a reprobate mind. The truth is, if you say you are a Christian and are also for the LGBTQ, then you are lying to yourself. Therefore, wake up to Jesus and repent. Amen.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that more people in the LGBTQ community will find freedom from the bondage they are in. Many of them know that what they are doing is sinful, however, they have chosen to put these thoughts aside while listening to what the world says instead. It is sad, that people would rather trust in people instead of You, God. You have given us a conscience for a reason. This way people can know what is right from wrong. Unfortunately, many wolves in sheep’s clothing are telling people to come as they are and stay as they are when it comes to how they feel inside. What was once taught, which is to come as You are, but allow You to conform us into who we should be is removed. Surely, what is evil is now good and what is good is now evil. Things have been flipped upside down, where Your righteousness and holiness are nowhere to be found. But Lord, I have not given up on You, nor have millions of others. We are anxiously awaiting Your coming, while trying to light up the world around us. Only You can shine brightly from within and help lead us to those who are ready to receive You for salvation. This is what I pray for, even this weekend in Utah as I hit the streets. I love You, Jesus. Amen.
