Mormons like to say that they believe that all men have the privilege of worshipping however they want. How they will not interrupt people who believe or worship differently. This is not only speaking of people who worship false gods, but Christians who are already saved through their faith in Jesus. Here is that belief, “we claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.” (Articles Of Faith) But do they really believe this? No. Instead, they send their missionaries out in all the world, in order to stop the worship of anything and everything that does not jive or fit within their belief system. And they wouldn’t dare speak evil of those who believe in many gods, for they do the same. Even if the Bible is clear that those who believe in and worship other gods are idolaters, whereas those in Christ worship only one God.
Paul taught, “but if any man love God, the same is known of him. As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one. For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,) But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.” (1 Corinthians 8:3-6) We are called by God to expose every false way in order to lead people to Jesus, not to keep people in sin. This is what Paul told Timothy to do also. He said, “preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears.” (2 Timothy 4:2,3)
Notice how Paul calls out people who believe in other gods, where He taught that real believers worship only one God, not many. How we are to preach and exhort people of other faiths to stop their pagan worship and repent and come to Jesus. We even reprove and rebuke them as Paul taught for not heeding what the Bible says nor listening to God. They say this, but still they send their missionaries out in all the world in order to lead people like this into their saving view in Mormonism. So do Mormons simply allow others to believe the way they want without intervening? No. So are they lying when they say that they allow everyone the privilege of worshipping however way they want? Yes. Interesting that they have not taken down this belief on their official site. Should they take it down? Yes. Otherwise, they remain a liar while interrupting worship, especially those in Christianity. They do this every time they knock on our doors and say we are wrong and need to convert to Mormonism. And so we expose their false doctrines and lies. Amen.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray for the sake of the Mormon people Help them know and realize how far gone they really are. These people proclaim that they believe in and follow, You, Jesus, but in reality, they don’t. Instead, they believe in a god that fits their own belief system. I’ve tried to reason with them and they say things like, “I am already saved”, or “thanks but no thanks”. Others in their cult say, “I don’t listen to Bible bashers and people who worship the Biblical text”. Lord, it is as if they think that just because we know and study Your Words often, we must also worship them. But I believe that You taught us to search the scriptures. There is so much more we can learn when we simply open up the Bible and read and study it, then turn to watch TV and rot our minds. God, I have had enough of not only what TV tries to do to my mind, but also what Mormons try to do through their mind control. TV, gaming, and their religion is no different. Help them know that they are under the control of Satan. I believe in You, Jesus. You can do all things. I love You. Amen.
