Those Who Are Saved Remember God

Those who are saved remember to give God thanks. Although not perfect, God’s true followers are grateful that Jesus has saved them. Therefore, they gladly worship Him. We exalt the Lord, our God, and give Him praise. Through music, we raise our hands high to the Lord, our God. In dance, we joyfully remember Him and are made glad. In studying the Bible, we ask Him for wisdom and to unfold upon us the mysteries from heaven. It is a joy to be led by the Lord. To have Him open our open mouths so that they may be filled is so amazing. I love it when my mind is filled with wisdom that I have so much energy to speak. Surely, the Lord, my God is my strength. I will praise him all my days. As David said, my soul also says, “sing aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob. Take a psalm, and bring hither the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery.” (Psalm 81:1,2) Give God praise today, even if it has been a while. Rejoice in the Lord God who saves. Get on the straight and narrow path that leads to eternal life.

God has spoken, “I am the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.” (Psalm 81:10) However, people who are unsaved have no desire in their hearts to even know Him, let alone have Him fill them with the Holy Spirit. For this reason, God allows them to live a life filled with lust and self ambitions. This is to help them learn from their mistakes and hopefully come to Him before it is too late. The Lord continued and spoke, “But my people would not hearken to my voice; and Israel would none of me. So I gave them up unto their own hearts’ lust: and they walked in their own counsels. Oh that my people had hearkened unto me, and Israel had walked in my ways!” (Psalm 81:11-13) Even God’s people forget Him on many occasions, which is sad. Surely, people in our time choose entertainment and their own lusts over the Lord on a daily basis. This needs to stop if they desire to be saved in the end. Many people are on the path of destruction and don’t even know it. They need to be warned. Amen.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that Your presence will be with us now. Come and abide with us, Jesus. We welcome You in our homes or wherever we may be now. Come and guide us, while giving us Your counsel from heaven. There is no better teacher on earth that we could learn from but You. You fulfill my every desire. I am able to do things that my body says is incapable of because I seek Your hand and You guide me. Thank You for being there for me. Now rest a while with me. I love the teachings in Your Word, the Bible. Continue to give me wisdom in every verse and chapter that I read. God, I cannot get enough of the Book of Psalms. I love how it is full of praise and worship to You, my Lord, God, and King. I can just imagine myself being in that time and thinking very similarly as David did when He wrote these psalms. Lord, He went through a lot and still remembered You while giving You glory and praise. He led by example on How to keep You in our remembrance daily. I love You, Jesus. I give You honor and praise. Have Your way in my life. Amen.

  1. Lord, let me rest awhile in you. We all have a tendency to complain. But, there’s real joy and power in praising our Lord and Savior. And OH is it ever a joy to be led by Him-to sense His presence as we go about our day.
