Willfully Disobedient

If we are willfully disobedient to God, He casts us off. We are scattered along with the wicked in this darkened world. This is because He is displeased with our lives and the choices we have made. Therefore it is important that we ask God to turn Himself back to you. The earth trembles before the Lord. Earthquakes come and the earth is broken up. Those who are wicked die because of these catastrophes. Sure, those who are faithful to God also die, but they are ready to see the Lord, God, and King. David wrote, “O God, thou hast cast us off, thou hast scattered us, thou hast been displeased; O turn thyself to us again. Thou hast made the earth to tremble; thou hast broken it: heal the breaches thereof; for it shaketh.” (Psalm 60:1,2) If God has cast you off because of your sins, then know that you are welcomed back the moment you confess your sins and get right with the Lord. His mercy and forgiveness are for us.

Ask God to lead you to the place where you should be. Just know that in these desires, He may lead men and women to help us, but you must showcase your faith for this to happen. Ask God to fight with and for you, so that He may become your defense. Men and women fail us but God is always for us the moment we come unto Him. God is valiant and causes our enemies to stumble in their unbelief, harsh words, and persecution. The Word continues and says, “who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom? Wilt not thou, O God, which hadst cast us off? and thou, O God, which didst not go out with our armies? Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.” (Psalm 60:9-12) There is only one way to escape the enemy and find freedom, and that is through Jesus. Come unto Him today and allow Him to save you. Amen.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that people will learn what it means to obey You. To not just say they believe in You, Jesus, but also do as You say. To come to You with their whole heart for salvation, not just a portion of it. God, all I hope for is to have Your presence in my everyday life. I know that this is impossible when sin abounds. You have made this clear to me, God, that without going all in, I am a slave to sin and what the lustful passions of my flesh desire. Lord, I am honored and blessed to know that You are there for me now. I have done some terrible things and I should have been cast off forever. Thankfully, Your mercy endures forever and my cries were heard. It is so wonderful to know that I am in a place where Your Spirit abounds. To be led by You and not the flesh is what truly makes me happy. I pray that others who say they are in the faith will mean it and be saved. I love You, Jesus. I give You my life, heart, mind, and strength. Amen.
