In Death We Experience Paradise Or Hell

The sad thing about death is that not everybody goes to heaven. Many have to go to hell, where there is sadness, fire, torment, and darkness. While in paradise, people experience peace, love, joy, and so much light. In this state of paradise, we are before the throne of God. Jesus is with us and this is where we will receive our rewards in heaven. One awesome gift from God is our resurrected body that will no longer experience pain, sorrow, or death. As for the wicked, they will first go to hell while in their spirits and then be judged by their works. Unfortunately, those works are as filthy rags to God and He will say to them, “I never knew you, depart from me”. And their final place of torment will be the lake of fire. In this horrible place, they receive their resurrected body. And in the body, the torments of this fire will be so much worse. David wrote, “the Lord trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth. Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup. For the righteous Lord loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.” (Psalm 11:5-7)

Speaking of the torments in the lake of fire, we learn just as David said that there is fire and brimstone. Imagine people swimming in this lake of fire where fiery balls are also coming down upon their heads. This would be so terrible. John wrote, “and the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.” (Revelation 14:9-11) The sad part of all this is that few shall find the path that leads to eternal life in heaven. This is because only those who do the will of the Father are those who really found Jesus and are saved. The Lord can save you today. Heaven awaits every person who puts their continued trust in the Lord, even until the end. Amen.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that more people will find You, Jesus, and be saved before their time of death. Every person in this life will die at their own appropriate age. When will I take my last breath? Only You know. All I know, God, is that I will be ready to go from this life and to the next. People won’t have to worry where I have gone, for I have come before Your throne in paradise. I love You, Jesus. Where You are is where I want to be forever. I do hope to see many loved ones in paradise. I just don’t know who is for You in this life and who is really against You. People who are doing Your will, Father, and who are doing their own will or the will of Satan. Therefore, find these lost people and speak to them through visions, dreams, and through people. Lead me and others to speak and pray over them. Open their hearts to receive Your gospel message of the cross and resurrection. I only wish to live this life to serve You and to bring people into Your kingdom. Many people are on this path of destruction, so help me find them. This way they can come off that path of darkness and onto Your path of eternal life in heaven. There is light where You are. I love You, Jesus. Amen.

  1. Amen! our works cannot save us. So we must tnot trust our works as they are filthy rags. We must trust only in Jesus. However, works are evidence that we are genuine believes and are saved and have been saved. We must do the will of the Father and live for God. We must have true faith in Christ.
