Only Jesus knows who truly have triumphed in this life and are saved. Out of the millions upon millions of people who say they are Christians, the Lord knows who really knew Him unto salvation. We can say it all we want that we are a Christian and are going to heaven till we are blue in the face, but this will not stop the place we are going if our walk is not in line with Christ also. You see, unless you are born again in the Spirit, you cannot enter the kingdom of God. This means that we die to our old nature and walk a new in Christ. Then, having been led by the hand of Jesus throughout our lives, we are then justified through our faith. Only through this can a person be saved, because they loved the Lord and did as He says. Now, speaking of those people who will be permitted to enter in the new earth and new heaven, Paul wrote, “now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.” (2 Corinthians 2:14) There is more that he wrote, and we will read those verses also but know that to be saved and to triumph in this life is to exemplify Christ in our everyday life. He is in our mind and worketh through us in every place we go, as Paul taught. This is so important to understand. But know that we cannot live in God’s holiness and righteousness and escape the temptations of sin unless His anointing is over us. We also cannot know and understand God’s Word unless the Holy Spirit is in us. People have corrupted God’s Word and these people are not saved.
Paul also taught, “for we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish: To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things? For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.” (2 Corinthians 2:15-17) We also learn here that ever person who is saved is a pleasing aroma of Christ. To those who pass on from death to eternal life to be with Jesus, there will only be joy, peace, love, and happiness, forever and ever. Now, there is a warning to every person who is a believer in Jesus, as Paul said. To corrupt God’s Word is working against God and causing His wrath to fall down upon them. To one extreme, people add to, take away, and change the meaning of the Bible in order to suit their belief system in their church. To the opposite extreme, God’s people preserve His Word, that nobody changes the words or their meaning over time. Unfortunately, there are churches that say their modern revelation now trump what the Bible teaches, even if it goes against what God has said. This is blasphemy, and unfortunately, many of the teachings in Mormonism have been formed because of men that have corrupted God’s Word, such as Joseph Smith and others. Therefore, take heed to not find yourself a victim to their evil schemes, but come unto the Lord afresh and let Him do a real work in your lives. People or religion cannot save us but by Christ alone. Amen.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that come death, that Your angels will come for me and bring me to where You are. In that very hour, it is my prayer that You will know how much I truly loved You. That I served You with all my heart. Everything You asked of me, I did it all to the best of my ability. I know that I failed You at times, but know that I am so sorry and pray that Your forgiveness is for me. It is my desire for every person I am around to know You as I know You, Jesus. You are my King. You are my God. You are my Savior. You are my Lord. You are the great I Am. My dear friend and Father also. You have heard my cries over the years and have wiped them all away in Your love and patience for me. Surely, I am not worthy of Your love, but You have shown it to me time and time again nonetheless. I will never understand why You never gave up on me but am so grateful to know that I am in good standing with You now. And why would I now go back to my old life and betray You? I will not, Lord. On that day, when I do die, I will run into Your arms, if You would just let me. You are my dear, dear, Father, and I love You with all my heart, mind, soul, and strength. Whatever You wish of me, I will do it, my God. I am Yours and You are mine. Have my heart in this hour and do a mighty work in me. I trust in You. I love You. May more people be saved and also enter Your rest come judgment day. Amen.
