Our faith is often very tender and easily removed from a person’s life. We, as children, can often be swayed to live a different life, if we aren’t firmly planted in our faith. And people may do this because they feel like following God takes too much freedom away and the people they like. This type of fragile faith is among most people. Instead of a faith that has a firm foundation on Christ and His Word, people often forget God. Instead of making Him a priority, they distance themselves from God and therefore stumble throughout life. As there is less time set apart for the things of God, their lives are replaced with fleshly lust. With these types of desires, there is often lust, sexual sin and addiction to alcohol, smoking, drugs and other things. People have the conscience that these things are wrong but have no way to escape it. And here is the reason. Without making time for God, He cannot help a person escape temptation. Only reliance on Him, can we be set free. This all begins when we humble ourselves and begin to rely on God, once again, like a child. So if your faith is wavering, then begin to read the Bible like a child today. Come to God, as your Father in Heaven, and learn of Him. God can help. Do not neglect this opportunity to repent any longer. For Jesus said, 1“except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.”
We learn that heaven is among those people that are humble. They are not proud and sinful in their own ways, but ever learning and following God’s will. Even we learn from Jesus, our Lord, that humility is the gateway to heaven. Have you humbled yourself like a child? If not, then call your Papa. Right now! The Lord God is waiting for You to come and ask Him for help today. Your freedom from sin and shame is a minute away. Do not delay this opportunity any more. Instead, cry out to Him and say, “Jesus, I am sorry, please help me. I do not wish to live this life on my own any longer. Help me through the situation I am in. Help me break free from my addictions. Give me clean thoughts and a pure heart. I am sorry. Please forgive me. I believe in You Lord. I do not wish to do these things that are evil in Your sight any longer. Take these things out of my life. Deliver me from darkness and into Your light. My heart is Yours……” If you prayed this prayer and continued in your own words, then the blood of Jesus is over You. You have been put on the right path and have become as a little child. Make this day the start of Your renewed journey to follow Jesus. Get into God’s Word, the Bible, daily and pray often. Allow every word to penetrate Your heart and do as our Father says. Through doing this, You will know God’s will and your faith will be ever strengthened.
Let us pray:
Lord God, we believe in You. You are our Father and we are grateful to be Your children. It is Your love and kindness that strengths us daily. As we read Your Words, the Bible, our faith is strengthened. We are not alone, for You have sent the Comforter to lead us to know the truth. The Holy Spirit is our guide. Thank You Lord. When I pray, I know that You are right there. You listen to my prayers and give me answers. You have opened my eyes to things that I’ve questioned. I’ve been strengthened to know where to go in life. This world is very deceiving but Your love and care for us is what nurtures us. Thank You for relieving me from my addictions that have plagued my life. For many years I did not know how to break free until the light finally came on one day. I was not being helped because I was not seeking You. There was no time for You, so how could You help me and set me free. This realization has changed me. Now, I look to You and everything is different. Your Words are what guide me, in this lost world. Prayer moves me to do what is right. Because I’ve made time for You, everything has worked out for my good. Thank You for helping me understand this. I am so grateful. I love You. Amen.

1Matthew 18:1-10 (KJV)
1 At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
7 Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!
8 Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.
9 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.
10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.
