If unrepentant, our sins will be brought before God in judgement. We will all be there but not in the same way. Are you ready? Soon, we will all come before God in judgement. Nobody is excluded from 3“the judgement seat of Christ”. Solomon said, 1“I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there.” Everybody in the state that they died, good or evil, will be waiting their turn. Your riches will not exclude you for the biggest event of your life. For everything depends upon the decision that the Lord Jesus will have on our lives. It will either be good news or bad news. Unfortunately, there is no in between with God. The righteous will be ushered into heaven, where the wicked will be 4“cast into the lake of fire”. And once a person is sent into either place, it is for eternity. There is no escape. For those in heaven, there joy will be never ending. There will be no more tears, for 5“God shall wipe away all tears” from our eyes. There will be no more sorrow, for the love of God will reign down upon us. All our pains will be over, for we are forever at peace, while in the presence of the Lord God. This reality of this paradise with the Lord may be hard to believe but all so real for every believer in Christ, that lives out their faith.
As for those people that have either rejected the Lord Jesus in their lives or didn’t show fruits of their faith, they will have a very different outcome, come judgement day. Every person that is not for God is against Him and that choice will be used against them. When they hear that their name is not written in the book of life, that will be the enough for God to carry forth his eternal sentence of damnation to the man or woman. No amount of tears or pleading will change God’s mind, as these people are ushered away and then thrown into the lake of fire. Terror will be in their faces and screams will ring out. While in these flames, they will experience such pain that they have never felt before and it will have no end. Their sorrows will be extreme and have nothing to help them. There will be much regret. As the fire is raging, day after day, they will be 2“tormented in this flame” and have no water to cool them off or quench their immense thirst. They will be forever afflicted and have no way out, for there destination is set. This is a harsh reality for the unsaved but is true nonetheless. As Solomon said, 1“God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.” Because our time is short, why not live out your faith and become clean through the blood of Jesus?
Let us pray:
God of the heavens, we come before You and worship You now. We know that judgement is in Your hands for You our judge. Everything we have ever done is known before You. Our lives are an open slate to you. For this, we ask that You to cleanse our lives from all sin. May we no longer be spotted by the things of this world but be cleansed by Your blood. We do not wish to live apart from You now and especially after death. We hope to go on from this life and forever praise You and lift up Your name on high. We love You above all else and could never think of a day without You in our lives. You give us meaning, for the life we live. The knowledge You give is life saving and has freed us from our bondage. If we are different now, it is because of Your grace. You have brought us to this point in our lives and for this, we give You thanks. All the glory goes to You God. You made us who we are today and are forever grateful. Never let us escape Your presence now or forever. One day, as our life comes to an end, call our names Lord and lead us into Your heavenly abode. We want to be with You. Our lives are complete with You in it. You are our first love and never want to leave You again. I love You. Amen.

1Ecclesiastes 3:12-22 (KJV)
12 I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life.
13 And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.
14 I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.
15 That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.
16 And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there.
17 I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.
18 I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.
19 For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity.
20 All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.
21 Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?
22 Wherefore I perceive that there is nothing better, than that a man should rejoice in his own works; for that is his portion: for who shall bring him to see what shall be after him?
2Luke 16:19-31 (KJV)
19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house:
28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
32 Corinthians 5:8-11 (KJV)
8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.
4Revelation 20:11-15 (KJV)
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
