If we would just open our hearts to God, we could see His glory before our eyes. The Lord would open our eyes that we may see. Nobody has experienced the good things that God offers until their hearts are fully opened to Him. Oh how far people have strayed by giving into the luxuries of this world over God. So many people believe that getting fulfilled in the moment is more important than everlasting joy. What these people don’t understand is God’s joy can also come in the moment. His peace can reign deep in our hearts, as we trust in Him. For you to experience God’s happiness in your life, all he asks is that you 1“Harden not your heart.” No longer walk in your own wisdom, but in the truths that God can give you. 2God has seen your heart and if you are not following Him, then you are on a path of destruction. Without God directing your path, He says that you are 1“a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways.” If you are not open to the will of God, God’s wrath is upon you. This is God’s declaration to all the unrighteous, 1“I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.” Heed God’s warning and repent.
If your heart is far from God now, repent before time is up! Confess your sins that your heart may be cleansed by the blood of Jesus. Lower your pride and come to the Lord for answers. You will be amazed at what God can do for a sinner that repents. If you have asked God to direct your paths and decided that today would be a new day for you, the heavens are rejoicing. As you confessed, your sins are forgiven. In this new walk, you will begin to appreciate the Lord’s blessings. God’s hand will be very evident in the life you are leading. For everyone that has been redeemed by God, let us rejoice. 1“O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.” Say, thank You Lord for forgiving me. Thank You for Your mercy. Give praise to Jesus, our Savior. 1“Let us sing unto the Lord”, who is mighty to save. 1“Let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.” We were lost but have been found. His mercy has given us new life. This is because 1“the Lord is a great God, and a great King.” 3Our faith in God makes us His children. 1“We are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand”. What a great God we serve, indeed.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, help me to live a life for You. I know that Your ways are good. Keep me from falling into temptation. Direct my path that I may not fall into the traps of this world. May the Holy Spirit direct my path. Lord, I am sorry for hardening my heart for so many years. I give You my heart, this day. Do with me as You please. Have Your way within me. Lead me from darkness and into Your light. Help me see Your goodness, always. You are my deliverer. You are my Savior, whom I put my trust. I give praise to Your Holy Name for Your mercy and grace. Thank You for saving me from a life of sin. I owe all to You. I love You. Amen.
