Sexual sin is very sickening. It takes to many people down the wrong path to hell. It saddens me to see so many people, even so called Christians are caught up in this sin. Sexual sin is made up of fornication, adultery, homosexuality and masturbation. Let’s begin our discussion on fornication. 5To die in this sin will keep a person out of heaven. But who are those that are called fornicators? Anyone that is in a sexual relationship with someone or something outside of marriage. Many people live in a sexual relationship before marriage and think they are justified by doing so. This includes straight and homosexual people. Sex outside of marriage also includes masturbation. You do not have to be in an actual sexual act with someone to commit this sin for you can also do this to yourself in your secret places. You may not be having sex with someone else physically but mentally you are having sex with a person in your mind. Even if that is not the case, you are having sex with yourself. This is all vile and very perverse in the sight of God. Just think of how God is reacting when you are in this filthy act. Would you want God to be in the same room as you while you are in the passion of your lust? How would you feel if this was recorded and displayed before you in judgement? I’m sure you would beg the Lord to turn it off and to have mercy. May this help your decision the next time you have sex outside of marriage or masturbate. 3We can’t hide our sins but all is seen in the presence of God. Walk knowing that God loves you and can see your every move. Repent and turn from your sins if you are currently living in fornication.
The Bible teaches, 2“thou shalt not commit adultery”. However, It is more than having sex with someone that is married, that is not our spouse. if we look at someone to lust, outside of marriage, we have also committed adultery. These lustful thoughts are more than just looking at someone on the street and looking at them to lust. It also includes pornography. Each time you turn your computer, phone or tablet on with the intention to view men or women or both naked and in a sexual act we have taken what the Lord says, is wrong, to the next level. Think about each time you’ve watched another person in the act of stripping or having sex and then knowing in your heart that you have committed adultery. Do you make light of these vile acts? What does this lifestyle cause? For one masturbation. Second, homosexual appetites. Third, the desire to fornicate and to physically commit adultery. Pornography is the drug of choice for Satan in our day. If you are wrapped up in it then you are acting as his puppet, each time your lust leads you to do this. When people are addicted to pornography they most likely look at straight and homosexual porn and think nothing of it. 4Therefore, the homosexual urges of having sexual relations with the same sex can more easily come out. 1This was never the desire of God and it grieves him to the heart just like Sodom and Gomorrah. God made us to meet, court and marry the opposite sex. Anything on the contrary is vile in nature. These people are not justified before God and are deeply in sin. Truly there salvation is at stake for what they are doing. Sexual sin will land a person in hell if repentance is not involved.
Let us pray:
Lord, 6help us to control our lustful appetites. Break every chain of addiction in people’s hearts. May everyone that says they believe in You, also walk in Your ways. Take away their desires to have sex outside of marriage, lust after someone of the same or opposite sex, and to please their lustful thoughts physically. Break their bonds of pornography and masturbation. Your kingdom is holy and therefore these types of people cannot enter. This saddens me to the core. Break their hearts that they may be cleansed from all sin. We cannot control our flesh but I know that You are able. You can see what makes us tick and are able to give us ways to resist temptation. Your ways are clean and wholesome. Cleanse our bodies that we may be a worthy temple for the Holy Spirit to dwell. We repent of our evil and confess our sins openly before You. We are sorry. Please forgive us. You are the Lord almighty. Come reign in our lives. Come Savior come. We need You. We love You more than all things. Amen.
