Even in the hardest times know that the Lord is near. He may seem distant but He is just waiting for us to call upon His Name. As we are feeling pains and sufferings He is a prayer away for help. He never intended us to go through difficulties on our own. He can help bear your sorrows if you give Him your time. The Lord Jesus already gave His life for us as a ransom for our sins. He felt all our sins. The weight of the world was upon Him and He did it willingly for our cause. He couldn’t bear seeing us suffer for eternity for our sins. For this He paid our debts freely. If we call upon His Name, our chains will be broken. Sin will no longer have control over our lives. The light of Christ will be in us to bear us up. In these trials, God will be by our side. He will take us by the hand and lead us to greener pastures. His peace will give us a clear mind on where to go forward in life. If you seek the Lord, then use the Bible as your guide. He will speak through it for it is alive. The words will give you counsel on how to live for Him. His will is written in the Holy Bible. The real question is, are you willing to leave a life of sin and follow Him. There is eternal life only found in Jesus. Don’t be on the border but all in for Jesus. Only in Him are we made alive.
Ask the Lord into your hearts this day. Turn from your sins and follow Him. God will deliver you from your trials and forgive your sins, if you trust in Him. Just as David prayed, “Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted.” Give your hearts to the Lord. As your heart is given to Him, He will take away your distress and fill you with His love. Cry out to Him for help and He will come after you. As you are sorry, His mercy will be upon you. As you confess your sins to Him, His forgiveness will be extended to you. Ask Him to look upon your afflictions that they may be made light. He will watch over you and deliver you from bondage. As you put your trust in God, you will not be ashamed. His grace will bring much peace and joy to your life. There is more to what the world offers and you will see this first hand. Life is hard but God’s counsel makes these moments easier to manage. Oh Lord, times are hard but you give me the peace I need to make better choices. In my sins, you raised me up. You took me from a life of pain into Your love. I am no longer in distress but in thanksgiving for all You’ve done for me. Keep me on Your path. Deliver me from temptation. I know You can do all things. I trust in You. I love You.
Psalm 25:16-20 (KJV)
16 Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted.
17 The troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my distresses.
18 Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins.
19 Consider mine enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred.
20 O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee.
