Tonight was a wonderful evening to share the love of Jesus with some new friends in downtown Boise. Five of us went out to share the gospel of Jesus Christ to all who would listen. The fire of the Lord carried each one of us, this night, to pray over people. Whatever they needed we just invoked the Name of the Lord over them. We prayed for healing over those that were sick. We prayed for those in addiction, that they would be set free by way of the Lord. There was a homeless man that just needed someone to talk to. He had went through a lot recently with His wife. After He got everything off his chest he said he was grateful to have us listen to him. He said he could see the love in our hearts for him. It felt wonderful to give him some food and drink and to share Jesus with him. Walking back I encountered a couple that I’d ask to pray for. I told the man that Jesus loved him and his response was, “I’ve seen other people do what you are doing but you are different. Your message is out of love for us. Thank You and keep up the good work”. Praise the Lord that he could see the light of Christ with us. It was our goal to bring even one soul to Christ. We knew many would reject His message but that wouldn’t matter to us. It is our joy to Just spread His love with one another. Thank You Lord for using us to share your great joy with others. You are the light which burns bright in my soul. I pray that many more souls are saved. This is why I share Your gospel message. You bring me so much happiness in my life that I would feel wrong if I kept it to myself. Everything I have, I offer it to You Lord. I love You.
James 5:13-16 (KJV)
13 Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.
14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
