Through prayer and reading the Bible we can come to know God. When we come to the Lord in worship let it be from the heart. Whatever is troubling you just speak your mind as if He were with you personally. We may not see Him but we can feel His presence. We have no need for rehearsing prayers. God knows our hearts. Just sitting and resting with the Lord is all we need sometimes. He knows what is on our minds before we even speak. God knows what we are thinking. Just be open and honest with Him. Thank Him for His goodness. Seek His guidance in any situation you are in. His knowledge is the best we’ll ever receive. There is no counselor on earth that has as much wisdom than Jesus. He is the one we can count on during hard times. For He will never forsake us. He is always there when we call upon His name. Ask that you may understand His words. If you read the Bible with the intent to learn, God will speak to you through different verses. Depending on the trials you are facing or other situations in your lives, you will see things differently.
The Lord has said, 1“Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.” We have no need to worry for the Lord is on our side. He has washed us clean from all our iniquities. We are welcome in His presence if we seek Him. We are His chosen people. Call upon God and He will come for you. He promises that 1“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee.” We are precious in the Lord’s sight. He has loved us from the beginning. We just weren’t aware of His great love. The Lord declares, 1“Fear not: for I am with thee.” Surrender everything you are to Jesus. Fall down at His feet and He will fill your heart with gladness. You will understand His Word through His wisdom. Take His counsel and run with it. He will take you places and use you to be a beacon of hope to others. Oh Lord, I thank You for everything You’ve done for me. I am grateful to come before You. I bow down at your feet. I love You Jesus. My life has never been better for You are with me. Take my heart. Take my soul. I surrender all to You. You are mine and I am yours.
1Isaiah 43:1-5 (KJV)
1 But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.
2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
3 For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.
4 Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.
5 Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;
