Do you fully trust in God? The life you live exemplifies your love for Jesus. Your actions speak louder than words. If we say we love the Lord but have anger in our heart for another, our love is dead. If we say we serve the Lord but don’t help those in need, we are only serving ourselves. If we say that we are forgiven but don’t forgive others, we are deceived and counted unworthy before the Lord. If we plead for the Lord’s mercy but then continue in addiction we are a hypocrite before God. We need to act different than those of the world. Let us not be like the wicked who look to fulfill their needs over others. All those who practice iniquity will be punished. Those that delay change and continue in selfishness and lust until the end, will one day see the Lord’s wrath of God first hand.
Love the Lord with all your heart and your neighbor as yourself. Serve others in any circumstance that comes your way. Jump at opportunities to serve Him. Give your whole heart to the Lord and trust in Him. Seek His counsel and abide by it. Listen to the Spirit and you will be guided in all your ways. Give all your passion to the Lord in worship. Sing praises to His Name. I will trust in God in all things. Even when I don’t always receive an answer on my time I know that I will receive it on His time. I trust that He knows what’s best for me. He knows the days ahead and will keep me safe if I follow Him. He is my Lord and my King. To serve Him is a great honor. He gives me strength when I am weak. He gives me comfort when times are hard. I am never alone for when seek I Him He is with me.
Nahum 1:7-11
7 The Lord is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble; And He knows those who trust in Him.
8 But with an overflowing flood He will make an utter end of its place, And darkness will pursue His enemies.
9 What do you conspire against the Lord? He will make an utter end of it. Affliction will not rise up a second time.
10 For while tangled like thorns, And while drunken like drunkards, They shall be devoured like stubble fully dried.
11 From you comes forth one Who plots evil against the Lord, A wicked counselor.
