Exaltation through man is not of God. Only God knows who will be exalted in due time, not corrupt people in false religions.
Matthew 23 :37-39 (KJV)
37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth...
God desires to gather His children like chickens, but still, they deny Him. The Jews will know their wrongs in Jesus’s return.
Matthew 23:25,26 (KJV)
25 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.
26 Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.
Have you ever seen people say such long prayers as if it is scripted? Unless it is heartfelt and Holy Spirit led, then it is not of God.
The scribes were the teachers of the law. They prided themselves on their knowledge of the law of Moses.
