Statement Of Faith

  • Baptism
  • 1. We believe that we are called to repent and be baptized after we believe in Jesus. We put on Christ, through baptism. (Acts 2:37-40; Galatians 3:24-27)
  • Bible
  • 2. We believe the Bible to be the only Word of God. God’s Word is pure and holy and should not be added to or taken away from. (Proverbs 30:5,6; Hebrews 4:9-13)
  • Church
  • 3. We believe that church is the body of Christ. We go to church to learn and to fellowship one with another. (1 Corinthians 12:12-28)
  • Commandments
  • 4. We believe that keeping God’s commandments is necessary in order to know Jesus and do His will. Loving Jesus is keeping His commands. The love of God is perfected in us when we keep the commandments. The two greatest commandments are to love the Lord God with all our heart, mind and strength and to love our neighbor as our self. (Matthew 22:35-40John 14:15-241 John 2:3-6)
  • Confession
  • 5. We believe that confession of sins is necessary for salvation. Through confession, our sins are forgiven and the blood of Jesus cleanses us. (Romans 10:9-13Ephesians 1:71 John 1:6-10)
  • God The Father
  • 6. We believe that God the Father is Spirit and we ought to worship Him in Spirit and truth. While in Spirit, God has the form of a man. Jesus is seated at the right hand of God.  (Daniel 7:9-14John 4:20-26Ephesians 1:17-23)
  • Gospel
  • 7. We believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ. That Jesus died for our sins on the cross and rose from the dead, three days later. (1 Corinthians 15:1-9)
  • Grace
  • 8. We believe that by grace, through faith in Christ, a person is saved. (Ephesians 2:8,9)
  • Holy Spirit
  • 9. We believe God has sent the Holy Spirit for us learn and grow in the faith. Through the Spirit, we are able to live a loving and righteous life. (John 14:16-27)
  • Jesus
  • 10. We believe that Jesus is our Lord God. He is our creator and judge. He was born of the virgin Mary, who later had kids naturally and was not sinless, as she needed a Savior. He came to this earth, in order to pay the price for our sins on the cross. There is only salvation through Jesus.(Matthew 1:18-25Mark 6:3,4Luke 1:46-55; 2 Corinthians 5:8-11; Philippians 2:5-11; Colossians 1:12-20)

  • 12. We believe that all people will be resurrected. The saved to the resurrection of life and the unsaved to the resurrection of damnation. (John 5:25-29)
  • Trinity
  • 13. We believe in the Holy Trinity. God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit are three person’s in one God. Working as three, in perfect unity. (Matthew 28:18-202 Corinthians 13:141 Peter 1:2,31 John 5:7,8)
