As the Bible teaches, there is a big difference between the wise and the foolish people of this world. The people that are not for God do not know true wisdom and are therefore foolish in there thinking. It is very foolish to deny God’s existence for the evidence of God’s creation is all around us. And nothing can deny the power of God’s Holy Bible, when read with the Holy Spirit. Those that understand God’s Word and are led by the Spirit are able to share the truths with the lost. In these efforts, the truths may penetrate the heart and really get people thinking. This is because, as Solomon said, 1“wisdom is profitable to direct.” It is so direct that God’s point is made without nothing more to be said. So why do so many people hold back and say that such teachings are judgmental? It is because the gospel truths are convicting and when it convicts a person of their sin, then it is hurtful to them. However, this is how the Bible reads as well, so to be offended by the messenger is also to be offended by the Bible. It is the humble that listens to God’s message and then react in a positive way. But the foolish always react negatively, for Satan still has them in his clutches. As Solomon said, “surely the serpent will bite” and not back down, in order to not allow God to win over the souls that are in bondage. Oh, how craft the devil is.
If foolish people would be open and hearken to the message of the gospel, then they would see how gracious God really is. They would then search it out and come to the Lord for mercy. However, those that are foolish will never see this to be true until they are humbled. This is when their eyes are opened to the truth. Solomon spoke of this when he said, 1“the words of a wise man’s mouth are gracious; but the lips of a fool will swallow up himself.” Who can see the wisdom of God in God’s messengers, but the humble and the meek. These people may be lost but are on the boarder of being found. If they but seek what is right and listen to the truth, they could be saved. However, the hard hearted cannot be reasoned with. For their wisdom is already found in what they gather from this world. Therefore, they are content in what they already have and do. So to speak the truth to them is hard. This is why, according to Solomon, that 1“the beginning of the words of his mouth is foolishness: and the end of his talk is mischievous madness.” I have seen this in action many times, while trying to share the gospel with people. These people, as Solomon describes, are 1“full of words”, but none of their ideas are for salvation. The truth is that Jesus saves. If people never open up to this, they will be lost in their sins forever.

Thank You Lord for showing us Your mercy and grace. We are so lost with You. Nothing can bring us happiness but You, my God. With Your help in my life, I can surely do all things. You give me strength even when I feel like nothing else is left. Thank You for coming to my side, when I need You the most. There is nothing like Your love. There is nothing like Your compassion. There is nothing like Your mercy. There is nothing like Your kindness. There is nothing like Your wisdom. I am so blessed. Thank You Jesus. Thank You Lord. What an awesome God I serve. I was foolish in this world but am made wise in You, my God. The message of Your gospel is so beautiful and I will always have it my heart. Thank You for the cross. Thank You for dying for my sins, dear Lord. Your blood has covered me. What a Savior! I look to You Lord God. You are alive and my hope and trust is in You. I will serve You Lord, all the days of my life. You are worthy. All praise and honor to Your glorious Name. I love You. Amen.
