I thank God for giving me light amongst all the darkness. He has called me out of my wickedness that I might be born again. There is hope for a new day because of Christ the Lord. Jesus gives me something to believe in. He gives me hope that goes beyond the grave. This belief has changed my way of life. It has changed the way I feel and act towards one another. It is because God has done such great things in my life that I want to share it with others. A gift God has given to me is to be a giver. As a believer of Jesus, I would feel terrible if someone died and didn’t have the chance to believe in Jesus for salvation. To even think of my kids not knowing the Lord would bring me to tears. For this reason, I pray that not only my family but also those I meet come to the saving grace of the Lord Jesus. Tonight was an amazing time to witness these truths with the homeless. Sure, everyone needs the gospel but tonight God led me to talk with them. So I prayed and shared the gospel message of Jesus to those that would listen. That there is forgiveness of sins because of the cross. That we can all develop a relationship with God in prayer. 1God does not want us to repeat different prayers but pray from the heart. These things were touched on tonight and I pray that those that listened will act on what they heard. I pray that the people I prayed with will be comforted.
I want to share an awesome experience that I had tonight, while in the service of God. Some things happen by chance and other things happen because God wills it. I give thanks and rejoice in what took place, this day. I was driving recently, when I saw a homeless person on the side of the road. As i was approaching him, he was walking away from the road. I felt so bad for him that I rolled down my window and called for him. I was so happy he saw heard me before the light turned green. I then anxiously gave him a water bottle and a candy bar. He was so grateful. You could see that he was so thirsty. He said God bless you, in which I told him the same. Before I left, i could feel the tug from God to offer him a Bible. So I opened my mouth and asked if he needed a Bible. To my amazement, he was thrilled to receive one. So I gave it to Him. Upon receiving it, he said that he didn’t have one with him but was in need of God’s Word. Before I left I encouraged him to read and that we can never read it enough. To this I give God all the glory. He gave me the impression to speak with this man. Because of this, seeds were planted in His heart. Thank you Lord for allowing me meet this man. Though it was only for a minute it was life changing. I love You Lord.
Let us pray:
Lord, You are the bearer of all good things. I am just grateful to know You and to be called Your son. I am grater with You in my life. All things are possible for I trust in You. I need not know my 1“left hand know what” my 1“right hand doeth” for You are able to act through me. You do greater things through me than I can do by myself. To share Your message of hope, I could never trust in my own words for they don’t convert anyone. I believe in the Holy Spirit for it convicts the hearts of men and women to repent and come to You. Thank You for leading me to such wonderful people tonight. May these seeds that were planted grow abundantly. May more people be encouraged to read the Bible often and search You out earnestly through Your words. It is so important to have Your teachings in our hearts. They lead me to walk in Your light. Draw me closer to You, each day of my life. I want to know You more. I love Your presence. I love You more than anything. I praise Your Holy Name. Amen.
Let us read the Bible:

1Matthew 6:1-7 (KJV)
1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:
4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
