There are marvelous things that happen in the life of a believer of Jesus. Those that are true to the faith are those that act on their instincts from God. When the Spirit speaks to their hearts they listen and obey. Even the things that may seem hard to do, He makes to be simple if we just trust in Him. If God is giving you counsel on something, it will be better off for you to do what He says then to do nothing at all. There was a miracle that happened today because I acted on what God put on my heart. I wondered, yesterday afternoon, how it would happen but the Lord came through. The Lord put on my heart a desire to have a Bible study with people of other faiths. I wondered how this would happen but knew it was what God wanted. A day went by and it was still clear in my heart that it was supposed to happen. Then out of know where God’s miracle occurred. Before I left to go to church for “Worship Night”, two wonderful men from my former faith came over to visit. They were so kind and just wanted to fellowship with me though I wasn’t in that faith any longer. After talking about life I began to tell them about my heart for the Lord. How my desire is to help people come closer to Jesus daily through the devotional messages. This led me to share one with them. As I read the message with a few Bible verses, therein, the Spirit was strong. I felt like we were all encouraged to follow Jesus. Then, before they left, God again put it on my heart to ask them to start a monthly Bible study and they said yes. They were actually quite happy to do it. What a miracle from God. For this to happen in a days’ time is so amazing.
I give God all the glory for the miracle that took place tonight. He saw the need for this get together and made it happen. Wow, I am blown away at what God can do for me. If you think this is amazing, then just imagine what God has in store for you. All it takes is a desire to listen to the Holy Spirit and act on it. 3No longer be hearers only but doers of His words. You will grow in the faith if you follow in God’s teachings. He speaks to us for a reason. Many times it is for our sake and other times it for the love for one another. God is able to use us if we allow Jesus to abide in us. Paul taught that the mystery of the gospel 2“is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” If you allow Him to use you then you are acting in His will. Just as Jesus is 1“in the Father” we are to have the Lord in us. There is a promise to all that believe and abide in the Lord. Jesus said, 1“greater works than these shall he do.” It is amazing that Jesus can do even more amazing things through us. We are God’s vessel to bring light to the world. We cannot convict people to come to Jesus but what He can do through us. It is so important to be in the Bible daily and let it be written in our hearts. This devotion to God will help us love one another. We will begin to pray more so for the well-being of others than ourselves. Jesus said, “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.” We can trust in the Word of God and if Jesus promises something we can know for a surety that it is true. There was a miracle from God today to those that believe. All that is needed is trust in God and it will take place in His time.
Let us pray:
Lord, you know what we all need in life. Thank you for bringing to my attention the need to fellowship with people of other faiths. Your love is for everyone and I am just so grateful that you can use me to help deliver your message of hope to them. Make me strong in Your ways. Help me to always take courage to follow You. Even when it seems difficult, help me understand the need. Speak to me freely and I will listen. You know our needs better than we do. Abide in my heart and lead the way. I will go where You want me to go. I will say what You want me to say. I trust that mighty things can happen because You are at the head. I love You Lord. Amen.

11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.

22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
