No Longer Walk Like Gentiles

The Bible is here for our profit and learning. If the Apostle Paul said, “walk not as other Gentiles walk”, then we need to abide by this. This is a directive to all people that call themselves Christian. We need to walk in the light of Christ and not in the darkness of the world. We can’t be all in for Jesus and still be a part of the world. To live for Christ should not be a challenge or obligation but anhonor. It is part of who we are. We may have walked with deceitful lusts in the past but that is where it stays. Our uncleanliness and greediness should not be a part of our new life with Christ. Jesus will renew our minds if we are willing to give Him our whole heart. When we repent we are willing to give up what is holding us back. Through the mercy of our God we can attain a new life. As you seek the Lord you will learn to walk in “righteousness and true holiness.”.

No longer walk in darkness but seek the light of Christ. Accept Him into your lives and put on the armor of God. You will have power to withstand the temptations of the evil one. The Spirit will be with you and give you power to do what’s right in adversity. As often as we submit ourselves to the Lord we will gain knowledge. Prayer will become a special time of worship. We will get our fulfillment in the joy of the Lord. The Word of God has truly opened my eyes to the glory of God. I never understood the importance of this walk with Christ until I opened my eyes to Him. I can finally see what He has in store for me. Thank You Lord for this new life. You have restored me into the fullness of your joy. Your walk brings much more happiness than ever before. I pray that more people will give up their old lives and follow You. You are my rock and my firm foundation. You are who I stand for. I love You.

Ephesians 4:17-24 (KJV)
17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
20 But ye have not so learned Christ;
21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
