Those that love God follows His commandments. The commandments are held at high esteem. Through following them, they are led to Christ. They live by word and deed. Jesus is welcome in their lives. The saints of God love the Lord with all their hearts. Nothing can take His place. It’s this same love that helps them make good choices. To love one another is an amazing feeling. Hearts are broken to receive Jesus as Lord. Prayers fill their hearts with wonder. The warmth that God resonances on their soul is delightful. Reading the Bible is welcome for it teaches them how to live their life in harmony with God. Good music that praises God is found in their lives. Though they aren’t perfect, they live to be perfect. Each time they fall, they return to Jesus in repentance. Tears of joy fall from their faces because of the mercy of the Lord. The blood of Christ has redeemed them from all sins. They are made whole through the love of Jesus.
The faith of a Christian cannot be replaced. It is part of who they are. Nobody has to force them to serve others. They are ready and willing to do what the Lord has for them. Worshiping God is key to who they are. They listen for the Holy Spirit and follow the promptings. Good works are found in their lives. People are cherished and cared for. This kind of faith carries them through the trials that life brings them. In their everyday life the love of Christ fills their hearts. There is only one thing that brings me true joy and that’s the love of God. What gives me hope is to one day see the Lord in all His glory at His coming. Jesus is coming home to rescue His saints. If death takes me before that glorious time I will die awaiting my Lord. Everything I’ve lived for will be worth it once I see His face. Oh Lord, I pray that before my last breath that your faith may be made whole in my life. Let nothing come before You. I love You Lord.
Revelation 14:12-14
12 Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.
13 Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them.”
14 Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud sat One like the Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle.
