I give thanks to all mothers and soon to be mothers for all you have to go through in child birth. What you are doing is an amazing thing. To think of all the pain you must go through for nine months is hard to imagine. The Lord has surely given you all a great responsibility in child-bearing. To all you husbands, do all you can to make your spouse be comfortable during these long months ahead. They need your support badly. I thank the Lord that there are women like you out there, that have courage to go through pregnancy. Children are blessed from God and need good women to raise them up in the Lord. Thank You for choosing the one true God and bringing these sweet little babies into the world. There are many temptations out there to give up and have an abortion but you stick through it all. Your fight for your own babies life is known by God. He can hear your cries when you are in pain. He can feel all of your suffering. He longs to bear you up in his presence. His arms are outreached to you all the day long. He knows each of you and loves you. There are no drugs that will lift you up like the Lord. His love will take you like a storm that is beating on your heart and carry you through all trials. The Lord is grateful to know such women of faith. He loves it when we trust in Him above all things. He is so good to us. Take courage in the Lord always. Hold on to the hope from on High.
When Rebekah and Isaac were first trying to have kids they had a hard time. It was his plea to God that led his wife to conceive and bear their first children. If it wasn’t for the Lord, she may have never had kids. However, it wasn’t an easy ordeal. In her own words she said, “the children struggled together within her; and she said, “If all is well, why am I like this?””. Her pregnancy was difficult and she struggled with much pain. She was to not only have one child but two. In her sweat and tears she inquired of the Lord for strength. The Lord was with her and bore her up. With His help she delivered two beautiful babies. “the first came out red. He was like a hairy garment all over; so they called his name Esau. Afterward his brother came out, and his hand took hold of Esau’s heel; so his name was called Jacob.” How sweet was their birth. I thank God for giving her and all of you women peace during this difficult time. Come to the Lord often in prayer and you will be blessed. Pray with your husband for strength. Become one with each other and the Lord. He will bless your lives. Jesus is the bearer of all things good. His love will lead you through all trials. You will have no fear in the Lord. God has overcome death that we might be saved. Trust in the Holy One who gives life. Thank Jesus for your life and the life of your children. His love is amazing.
Genesis 25:21-28
21 Now Isaac pleaded with the Lord for his wife, because she was barren; and the Lord granted his plea, and Rebekah his wife conceived.
22 But the children struggled together within her; and she said, “If all is well, why am I like this?” So she went to inquire of the Lord.
23 And the Lord said to her: “Two nations are in your womb, Two peoples shall be separated from your body; One people shall be stronger than the other, And the older shall serve the younger.”
24 So when her days were fulfilled for her to give birth, indeed there were twins in her womb.
25 And the first came out red. He was like a hairy garment all over; so they called his name Esau.
26 Afterward his brother came out, and his hand took hold of Esau’s heel; so his name was called Jacob. Isaac was sixty years old when she bore them.
27 So the boys grew. And Esau was a skillful hunter, a man of the field; but Jacob was a mild man, dwelling in tents.
28 And Isaac loved Esau because he ate of his game, but Rebekah loved Jacob.
