Jesus felt all of our pains while on the cross. He suffered that we might overcome sin. He is all compassionate and loving. His love didn’t end on the cross. His love extends forever and ever. For He has overcome death. Jesus rose from the dead. Many witnessed His magnificent resurrection. His disciples were those that stood by the Lord through it all. What an amazing experience they had when He appeared to them. He showed unto them His nail prints in His hands and feet. He gave them the Holy Spirit that they may be led by His hands when He is gone. Their hearts were glad for Jesus was alive. His peace fell upon them and gave them comfort. They no longer had to fear for He was on their side.
Jesus is alive. The Word of God declares that He has risen. Prayer has helped me develop a relationship with my Savior. The Holy Spirit confirms to me that He lives. No one is like our God for He has power to save. Forever will He be lifted up high. We can have strength in this life by following Jesus. We worship a God that has always existed. He has been there throughout the ages for people that have trusted in Him. Will you put your trust in our risen Lord? Will you give your life to Him? Will you accept Him as your Lord and Savior? His love has changed my life. I know that He will transform your life if you trust in Him. His miracles have no bounds. Give Him your heart and you will find a peace that never ends.
John 20:19-23
19 Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you.”
20 When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.
21 So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”
22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.
23 If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”
