Our minds need to always be on the Lord. The more we seek Him the more His Holy Spirit will guides us. We will feel the spirit stronger in our lives. Our thoughts will be made clean. Our minds will be focused on what is most important. We will walk in His ways. Satan will have no power over us. The Lord is our shield. He will help deter the darts of the enemy. The deeper relationship you develop with the Lord the farther away you will be from temptation. You will be loosed from any sin that has kept you captive. You will know how to react when something doesn’t seem right. As often as you can, be in worship to the Lord. Give Him praise at all times. For He is worthy of our praise. Lift Him up high and honor Him.
Develop a relationship with Jesus. Just as a bride gives her heart to her husband, give your heart to the Lord. Be devoted to Him just as you should be to your spouse. Love the Lord with all your soul. Follow Him with all your heart and strength. Give up any addiction that has you bound. Let Him free you from your chains. Oh Lord, when I am weak, I will seek your comfort. When I fall under temptation, I will seek your mercy. As I turn away from sin, I will seek your forgiveness. I am sorry for my failures this day. Have compassion upon me. Take my hands and make them clean. Take my thoughts and make them pure. May my heart be transformed in your love. I know You will never desert me. You are most important in this life. I love You Lord.
Colossians 3:1-7
1 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.
2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
4 When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.
5 Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.
6 Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience,
7 in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them.
