Content With Our Own Lives Or Doing God’s Will?
God’s harvest is ripe, but only a few people are workers in it. This is because more people are content with their own lifestyle.
After confessing our sins to God, we turn from them in repentance. We do this before and after we are baptized.
God’s judgment is upon the wicked. Even His wrath is upon people now who worship false gods and have no desire to repent.
If you were to die today, will Jesus say that you did evil or that which is righteous in His sight? Judgment day is coming.
Jesus said that we are the light of the world and people will glorify the Father by seeing the good works from God in us.
It is a blessing to have the Bible in our midst today. It is breathed from God and we have the opportunity to learn from our King, as we read.
When God does good things in your lives, be grateful. Learn from the leper who was healed by Jesus when he, “fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks”.
Rejoice when those that were lost are now found in Christ. Put your anger aside and forgive them as God forgave them already.
If you fall into sin, immediately cry out to God for forgiveness. Then Jesus will save your soul and turn your heart to follow Him.
Job knew that God formed us in our mother’s womb. This is where God breathed into us our spirit, that we might have life.
Listen to others, and be slow to speak. Many people just need comfort, not criticism. Be considerate of people’s needs.
It isn’t worth falling victim to sexual sin. Don’t allow your integrity with God to be ruined. Temporary pleasure is not worth it.
God desires us to find true happiness in life, where righteousness abounds. Not the life of a sinner, who only dwells in darkness.
God has spoken to us clearly to not print anything upon our bodies, for example, tattoos. Doing this makes us unholy in His sight.
We don’t cut ourselves like people of the world do. This is because we are now different than others, even God’s holy people.
It is amazing that God has given us a pathway to heaven. It may be narrow but the fruits of walking on God’s path is life eternal.
My soul delights in the precepts of my God. His laws are my comfort and keep me safe. I feel so close to Him when I am walking in His ways.
The Lord spoke to my heart when I was caught up in my wicked ways. He was loving enough to take me in but also just in His dealings with me.
The second experience was life changing. Upon knocking on Victor’s door we were delighted to introduce ourselves to him.
One gentlemen I spoke with was Don. We must have talked for about a half hour about Jesus. He is seeking the Lord and trying to break free of his smoking addiction.
